Hotel New Hankyu Kyoto

Good location, good breakfast

The hotel is on the opposite side of the Kyoto Station. The location is very good. It can be seen from the hotel. Although the hotel room is not large, but to see the re renovated, breakfast is very good, there are two restaurants to choose from, the overall feeling good.

Hotel Villa Fontaine Village Kyoto

Patient staff

The room was really pleasant an very close to the local train station. When my family fell ill and missed our check out by less than 30 minutes, the hotel was patient, kind and understanding. Thank you for a clean place to stay, with great little extras in the room.

Dormy Inn Premium Kyoto Ekimae Natural Hot Spring

The best hotel of the trip!

Check-in was exceptionally easy. The staff all spoke English quite well, and were very patient with our broken Japanese attempts. The room was actually quite large by Japanese standards. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning was great. Breakfast was DELICIOUS and had a lot of options. We took advantage of the hot springs (they provided me with stickers to cover my tattoos so I could use it, which I thought was very considerate of them!) and the spa, and both left me in a relaxation coma. The hotel is conveniently located right across from the train station, and there are a ton of restaurants in the area. Plus, there is a convenience store attached to the hotel. I seriously cannot say enough great things about this place-- if you are staying in Kyoto, this is the place to stay!
