Amazing experience for a centrally located hotel

The hotel is centrally located for tourist visits and of easy access with public transportation. The staff is extremely helpful upon request. I liked the modern and automated approach for requests: you send a request via your mobile phone. I enjoyed the garden view. While there is no outside view, you feel like being in a tropical forest. Amazing experience.

Loved my stay here. I stayed in the garden view room and it was amazing. The staff was friendly and the area was safe and walkable. The breakfast is really good and worth it if contemplating adding it to your stay. The space was quiet and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Our room was beautiful. It was quiet and had blackout draperies, the beds were comfortable. The garden room was gorgeous, the view from the bathtub was just great. The breakfast had a wide variety of choices. The location was close to transportation and a short walk to Pontocho. We enjoyed our stay. We arrived early and asked if one room was available. It was and it was great to check it early and quickly shower after a long day of traveling. They prorated the daily cost, so $100 for 4 hours. While fair, we were staying for 4 nights with 2 rooms, so it seemed a bit penny pinching-and it took over 30 minutes for the front desk to calculate the fee.

京都、河原町の端っこで市役所前駅の近く。と言うよりも駅からすぐのところにあるホテルです。中心街の喧騒から離れてゆっくりしたい人には良い場所だと思います。ホテルの階層もそこまで高くなく、よくある高層階まで行った。エレベーターがなかなか降りてこないと言うイライラが少ないです。ホテル自体も落ち着いた雰囲気で、部屋も落ち着ける雰囲気でした。惜しむらくは、清掃が2日にいっぺんと言う事。希望出せば毎日清掃していただけますが、基本2日にいっぺん。そのためゴミの回収も自ら外に出さないといけないためやや手間に感じました。できればベッドメイキング等は2日にいっぺんでもいいので、部屋のゴミを回収と簡単な掃除機をかける位の掃除はしていただけると助かります。お部屋のお風呂も立派ですが、シャワーがやや水圧が弱い感じがしました。大浴場は大きなお風呂が2つあり、薄暗い照明の中落ち着いてリラックスできる場所でした。ホテルを出ればすぐ裏手には鴨川が流れており、早朝及び夜の静かな雰囲気の中川を散歩出来るのは良かったです。食事に関しては素泊まりのコースを選んだため評価できません。移動においては、駅が近いということが、何より便利に観光しやすい場所だと思います。ちょっと足をのばせば河原町の中心街に出ることができるので、食事も買い物も困りません。昼間は観光、夜は静かの中、ゆっくりできるホテルがいいと言う方にはお勧めだと思います。
