What a great hotel, we were really impressed with the caring nature of the staff and the hospitality never ended. The hotel room was clean and functional. Alot smaller than what we expect from a first class hotel in the U.S. But the amenities and the bed were much better than we get even at the 5 star hotels in the U.S.!!! I hope to get the opportunity to come back and stay at the Sakura Terrace. 🙏❤️

Very nice hotel with helpful staff. Included the first drink free each night, which was a nice touch after a long day. Also had helpful instructions on how to get to the main attractions in Kyoto and back from the hotel. We were disappointed that we had no internet reception in our room, but we understood that this is a temporary issue due to renovations.

Very pleasant stay here during our weekend in Kyoto. It was very nice finding a hotel in Japan with king sized beds. Located south of Kyoto station is is a brief walk from any of the action in town, but that made it nice and quiet. The hotel advertises live entertainment in the lounge dining area, and listed some great meal deals ($10 for a taste of wagyu, heck yeah!) but it turns out there are at the sister hotel a few blocks away. They do simulcast the entertainment on the tv, but still that felt like cheating to me. The free cocktail every evening was very nice. My wife recommends the sake violet.

Nice hotel, tasty breakfast & accommodating staff - would come again. Around 12 minute walk from main station and 1 minute walk from local station (Kujo).

Sakura terrace is a great hotel. The staff is great. The buffet was really great. And the complimentary drink was a added bonus. If you get a chance to stay here you won't be disappointed.

Everything we must do byself, staff cannot help anymore. Room cleaning is not sure, one ant is appear in our bed. The public bath too small. I don't want to select here again.

Great hotel for the price. The hotel is close to Kyoto train station.

They would not let us check in, saying they could not find a reservation. They later refused to release a refund after giving a long list of lies to Orbitz...1) that we checked in, 2) that we were a no-show, 3) that we did show up, but cancelled the reservation on the spot. It was the worst experience of my life, the staff was rude and spoke almost no Engish, then I had to scramble and make a last minute reservation else where. Terrible!!
