This hotel was WOW! We went to Japan and stayed at 4 different hotels and this one was my favorite one. Service was a 100000/10 food was great, views were unbelievable amazing. Keep in mind this hotel is located on a rural area so you are about 20 min away from the little town and everything closes at 8. Meaning you are unable to get into public transportation or taxi after that time. We had to walk 30 min to get back to the hotel. Nothing major, you really don’t hav to leave this hotel because it is stunning

It feels like a luxurious hotel with excellent service. The rooms are incredible and the discounts on the few shops and restaurants below were appreciated. It was very close to the train station but a bit far from areas that we wanted to explore.

An excellent hotel overall. The public bath is great, 2 tubs, a cold bath and a Sauna. Very clean and quiet rooms. The only issue was the absence of a desk/work station for a laptop.

The Hotel is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood and easily accessible from Kyoto station by train (1 stop) or multiple buses. However the room could have been cleaner. There was dust in the corners and behind the tv. One person of our group had a big allergic reaction.

The room was very clean and spacious, and the best part of my stay at Hotel Emion was the staff. Keisuke and Yuki went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay and even reached out to me after we left about some belongings we accidentally left in our room. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and will be coming back to stay again!

Great staff! They helped to facilitate a lost item at our precious hotel and they arranged for it to be delivered. The staff were always friendly and had answers to our questions. The hotel is situated one stop away from the Kyoto station. Very convenient. The rooms were large, beds and pillows comfortable. Best of all for me, was that they had comforters as I like to sleep with something weighted on me. Across the street there is a very good and small ramen place, highly recommended. We did have breakfast at this hotel and it was OK since it was more Japanese than western. Am used to a traditional western breakfast but other might enjoy a more Japanese one.

The room was good size but a shame it hasn't any wardrobe. They provided only 6 hangers and we stayed here for 7 nights so needed a wardrobe really. It was hard to get a clothes rail only after we talked to the manager. The breakfast suits oriental people more with big choice of food and was good. Some receptionist were nice but cannot speak much English.
