We really liked this hotel – one of our favourites on the trip. Great bar and restaurant service. The Hotel also had activities such as calligraphy for us to try. The room was a good size as well – we had issues with very small rooms in other hotels.

Staff were lovely, quick check in, water and tea and coffee in reception were handy when you came back after a long day, rooms were small but perfectly fine, they do classes like calligraphy and origami for free and biscuits in the afternoon for free, it was in a great area, roughly a mile to the station. Love the room, the staff was so nice gave us recommendation for dinning shopping etc. check in was smooth and easy When I wanted to send my luggage ahead of time they were able to help fill out the form with the information I provided. Wonderful place to stay in Kyoto.

I loved this hotel! The location was perfect and in a walking distance from many sightseeing places. It was very clean too. Only the rooms were unbelieably small. For 1 person it would not be a problem, but for 2 people opening the luggage could be an issue. Despite this, I loved staying here.
