We are a family of 3 (husband, wife, adult child), had a 4 night stay in Kyoto. Room was clean and comfortable - actually quite huge, we had plenty of room for 3 adults which was so appreciated! The hotel staff was simply amazing, best we had in our 12 nights thru Japan. The amenities were plentiful, provided almost everything you could need! The location is superb, we walked to almost everything, super easy walk to Nishiki market. This was our favorite hotel, super clean, convenient and outstanding staff. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Very nice and clean hotel. The room was very spacious. We didn't get the meal options offered from the hotel as there were many local stores around to buy breakfast, lunch, dinner. Location is excellent. Super close to subway station. Also many must visit locations are walking distance. Very satisfied with my stay here in April 2026.

It’s our favourite hotel in Kyoto. It’s full of character and the staff are amazing. We love period hotels and this one just ticks all the boxes for us. The food is top notch too.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Nikko Princess Kyoto. The quad room was exceptionally spacious, especially compared to other hotels we stayed at in Japan. The location is excellent, being within easy walking distance of Nishiki Market. We loved the grand, elaborate, and slightly old-fashioned feel of the property, which gave it a lot of character. The hotel is impeccably clean, the bar is great, and the staff were wonderful. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto.
