This was an amazing place. Its a mixture between a hotel and a rental apartment. I loved it because it has the convenience of a hotel and gives you the feeling as if you are living in Kyoto like a local. The reception team was very friendly, nice and spoke very good English. I would most definitely come back to the place.
Great hotel and very friendly staff. The staff spoke English and were always helpful. The washing machine and drying racks are very convenient. Just FYI there is no dryer so when doing laundry you need to plan accordingly.
This is a wonderful, small (19 rooms) hotel with very nice apartment facilities. Extremely clean. Superb staff (but be aware that staff are on duty only from 8 am to 7 pm, but this was not at all an issue for us. We stayed 6 nights and the hotel, facilities and location grew on us.

Each apartment is individually decorated and features a kitchen and a balcony, and there's space to spread out with a dining area. A 40-inch flat-screen TV is available for entertainment, and guests can stay connected with free WiFi and wired Internet. The bathroom offers hair dryers, free toiletries, slippers, and bidets. Other standard amenities include a washer/dryer, an electric kettle, and a safe. Housekeeping is available on request.
Kyoto Four Sisters Residence features free WiFi in public areas, free newspapers, and laundry facilities. Self parking is available for JPY 1000.00 per day. Front-desk staff can assist with luggage storage and dry cleaning/laundry. This apartment building also has a vending machine.
