Stayed here for 4 days. My family really enjoyed the play although it is a little small for 3 adults. Room very clean, nice, bright with a small balcony. Free washing machine in the room with free detergent which was a surprise plus!. Tricky to find the Resi Stay reception near Kyoto Station, but info desk in the station helped. Free one way shuttle to the hotel. Hotel conveniently located near Subway and bus station, 5-10 minutes walk. Had a small kitchenette, microwave/toaster and fridge. No time to cook though. Would definitely stay here again next time.
Location was at a residential area. We had to walk 2 blocks to the main road to find a taxi.

It was nice having a flat all to ourselves, the beds were comfortable, you get a veranda with a patio table. There inside apt. A personal stove for your own cooking and area comes with washer and dryer. The bath was nice to soak in but not so much for people over 5'6 ft.. As it is quite small haha..! The blow dryer did NOT work at all but we didn't really need it so no big loss. Most apts/ hotels in Japan provide you with toiletries like toothbrush, q-tips, razor, brush, shampoo, conditioner, body gel by the gallon oh and a shower cap. Only thing I needed to bring was deodorant and floss. One thing resi stay didn't have was pajamas or slippers.
The only concern I have for this is no concierge/front desk to assist you. They send email to communicate with you for direction and leaves instruction inside the hotel in English regarding directions to nearby sight seeing and how to operate the room appliances. There's also a washer and laundry soap inside the room, a big plus for their guest. Other than that you're on you own figuring where's the main disposal for trash, etc. Location wise its close to Sanjo Keihan station 11 and Bus station (5, 12). It's safe and Family Mart is just around the corner. Check out is on time they send somebody to make sure you're leaving at 10:00 exactly.

Thank you for staying with us and your comment. Our accommodation is located near Sanjo Keihan station. Normally the guests can catch the taxi at there. But now the best season for cherry blossoms. So we think you spend much time for that. We hope you had a wonderful time here in Kyoto.
