Yes, yes the room smelled musty the sheets and blankets where not changed. There was no WiFi charging station available in the room. After staying at Intergate Hotel l could not stay in the poor excuse for a room. I booked out and left back for Shinjuku where my stay is excellent

Perfect location when using Kyoto as a hub for your travel. It is located right across the train station but on the back or Hachijo side, which is less busier than the Kyoto Tower side. My only complaints is that I booked a premium floor with train view almost a year in advance, but i got a very corner view facing other buildings in which I can see the train station but barely see trains, I did ask the front desk but they responded with -you can see the shinkansen trains passing by-barely. What the picture of the view I booked was nothing compared to the room I got, Other than that, goof hotel for the location.

Lobby and grounds are nice but rooms are dated. Carpet is filthy and shower curtain is mildew and makes it stink. Rooms need new carpet and furniture and shower curtains need to be changed more often. Would not stay here again if not for the convenient closeness to train station.
