Got upgraded to Mulberry suite. Amazing room with kitchen and dining area, perfect for large groups. MRT connection to hotel almost finished and Peridot lounge manager Jennifer proudly showed us the newly renovated Chinese restaurant on lobby level. Didn’t have time to sample the food but liked the separate function rooms available for smaller groups. Peridot lounge food was great quality and servings. Surprised by the French Chardonnay served as I tend to prefer Australian wines. All staff were so helpful and polite including the driver back to airport (I always allow plenty of time to get to KLIA if going by car). Pool and sauna clean and refreshing. Welcome retreat and stopover during business meetings and great respite for travel jet lag.

I went there with a group of people and the hotel staff is very complocated and not supportive in some cases.. they do not what they are doing.. our company paid us full amount but it was not tranferred from hotel internally.. so they took around 1 hour to deliver a room to us... we have booked the breakfast and suddenly when we were having that somebody came and informed that it was not ordered... they have tickets to sunway lagoon which were selling in front of the reservation but the reservation team did not have a clue on that

Overall, a mediocre experience staying at One World. Staff was unfriendly and poorly trained. English was badly communicated. Pretty bad considering this is a 5 star hotel. I got two rooms and travelled with a young family. The rooms were pretty well presented and comfortable. Nothing to fault with the rooms but nothing to get all excited about either. I expected more for the price. The breakfast buffet was pretty good.

I used to like this hotel very much for the convenience of the location and the shopping mall next door. However I felt that this hotel has deteriorated badly in terms of security and cleanliness, plus also becoming money minded in this year. Here's what I've experienced. 1) Movie to be paid now I've bought the Hotel Elite membership last year as recommended by a friend. When I was staying in this hotel for business trip, I get to watch all the movies free. However, after signing up for the Elite membership, seems everything has changed! Only 4 are free but the rest are all chargeable. I was shocked that the changes takes place during my membership year. When I talked to the staff, they just told me that Elite membership do not include such. Yes, it's not included, but then when I bought this Elite membership, my main interest for my kids were the in house movies! This is the reason I bought it so that the kids can enjoyed in the hotel room. So it was really disappointed for my kids. Hence, I had to pay for the in house movies for them to watch. 2) Security issue - everyone can get the room key easily! Last year in Oct 2016, my sister came in to the hotel with a luggage and the hotel staff escorted her straight to the room that she wanted without a room key. The hotel staff, without checking further or verifying her identity at all, went to the reception to get an extra room key for her while she waited at the room door. Imagine if that was not my sister? I've reported this to the reception and they just said sorry. When I feedback to the hotel via their online feedback, nobody send any reply on this issue. Seriously, this needs to be looked at and room key should only be given to the owner of the room and not anyone who just walked in. 3) Bed bugs Beginning of November 2017, again I was checked in to the hotel and needed to stay there for 2 weeks. On the first night itself, while I was sleeping half way, I felt itchy all over my hands and legs and it gets red and patches of dots the next morning. When I checked with my colleagues, who was staying there too, had the same experience and quickly demanded for the bedsheets to be changed. However the itchiness was too bad for me that I have to see a doctor for medication. I've never had such an experience last year. 4) No power point for hair dryer in the bathroom It is very weird that there's no power point plug for hair dryer in the bathroom. I've to search for it and try to find a mirror nearby. Maybe the hotel can write a small little note along with the hair dryer to inform the customer on where they can find the power point with a mirror. I hope the management can do something about all these problems as I was a frequent traveller to this hotel. If there's no improvement on all these, I think I'll have to choose another hotel. Thank you.

I've stayed in One World Hotel several occasions due to its location and I must say I do like the wide variety of food available for breakfast. However, there is some confusion with the guest registration. My wife and I checkin on 23th Nov for 2 nites. However from 23th to 24th, we were using an AsiaMiles hotel redemption under my wife's name and from 24th to 25th using an Agoda booking under my name. During checkin on 23th evening about 6.30pm, we specifically informed the staff of our two separate checkins for two separate nites and we would like to have it in the same room such that we do not need to change rooms. The staff assured us they understand and that they will register us for both the bookings for the same room for both nites. We were then told the hotel is upgrading us to a Junior Suite. We didn't really mind any room as most of our time is gonna be spent outside the hotel, we're only returning late at nite to sleep. So we informed the staff that if they are upgrading us to Junior Suite, we still need it to be the same room for both nites as it's a hassle to repack and move to another room after the first nite. Again the staff assured us that both nites will be the same room. We signed two separate booking form that the staff printed, one for 23th and another for 24th. However, on the 24th at 3.00pm I received a call on my phone that checkout time is 12.00pm and I have yet to vacate my room. So I informed the staff that I am staying two nites. However the staff was not able to resolve my booking for the 2nd nite. Fortunately I was on the way to 1 Utama Shopping Center to pickup my wife, so I detour to the hotel lobby to try to resolve the issue. To my shock the staff could not find any form that I signed the nite before for 24th and the staff says the system does not have any note about my stay for 24th. I assured them that the evening during checkin, I was assured that I am registered for the same room for both nites. To make a long story short, there was a lot of arguing back and forth, and in the end the staff had to re-register my stay for 24th nite but it will be to the Deluxe room that is on my Agoda booking, which means we have to pack our stuff and move to another room on another floor. I was in a rush to fetch my wife for our meeting appointment and I told the staff I cannot and do not have the time to go pack. And I insisted the staff register us for the same room as we were assured during checkin that we have the same room for both nites. After lots of back and forth, the manager agreed to let us continue our 2nd nite stay in the same Junior Suite room. A good ending but a lot of unnecessary stress to get there. I feel there is improvement required on the guest registration. 1. How can the staff not able to find my checkin registration form when I had signed two forms, one for 23th Nov and the other for 24th Nov? 2. I also asked the staff to call the person responsible to check me in on 23th evening so they can ask that person where did she placed my registration form, however they seem not wanting to pursue it, perhaps their system does not show who registered me during checkin. 3. There must be a better way or system that the hotel can use to avoid any such issue in future. Asking a guest to repack things in the room to move to another room is not a nice thing to do. Calling a guest at 3.00pm to tell the guest to checkout and that checkout time is 12.00pm is also not a nice thing to do especially when the guest is checkin for a second nite. It was fortunate that my first meeting ended early, otherwise I may not have been able to get back to the hotel to rectify the hotel's mistake. The whole event was extremely stressful especially when being told we had to pack our things to move to another room when we were rushing for our 2nd meeting for the day. However I feel the mistake was not on the staff who called me on 24th about the checkout or the staff trying to help resolve my registration for my 2nd nite. I believe the mistake occurred as there was no proper passdown from the staff who did my checkin registration on the 23th despite assuring me several times that she have it on record for us to be registered for both nites for the same room. I do hope the hotel management would take positively to this feedback and can improve the registration process to avoid similar future mishaps. Thanks.

Reached One World Hotel today @ 27th Nov 2017 & will be here til 1st Dec. Ordered in room dining: 1) Chicken chimicangas - It was awful. Extremely dry n kinda burnt. Is it suppose to be this dry n look like this? 2) Spring roll - Burnt & salty. I know that saltiness level is a very subjective matter. But I will consider myself as a person tat will take in salty food but not this spring roll tho. And its burnt too. 3) Club Sandwich - the bread is hard..not sure why. 4) Rib eye steak - slightly dry but the best among the rest of the food that I ordered. I had ate in room dining from One World Hotel a few times (as I came here every year)..but I guess this time, the food is not in its top notch stage. Kitchen staff chg or??? Hopefully someone can enlighten me on this as I come here every year with my family n my children were disappointed with the food quality.

The location was very convenient for us as we had arrived by coach and the stop was literally next door to the hotel. It's a traditional hotel, with all the amenities you would expect of such a hotel. Stayed in a 2-bedroom suite. Everything was clean and modern and worked well. Hotel came with breakfast and the spread was impressive. It is also next to One Utama mall, which provides plenty of shopping and eating options. Would recommend.

It is so honoured management upgrade me to a Executive Suite as while they still busy for housekeeping but my children felt tired and gonna sleep. And need to compliment for all the staff attitude, they are very friendly and have a sweet smile while serving us. Especially a staff call Shuqi, feel so comfortable for this trip, and will definitely come again !!! ^ ^ Thank you One World Hotel

This hotel is well integrated with next door building of Office Towers and huge shopping mall. Hence it was very convenient to go to office tower just next door. The restaurant Cinnamon Coffee House was quite good with various counters with international cuisine. And there were many other choice of restaurants in the mall as well. This was my second visit to this hotel and planning for more visit soon as well. The staff at front desk and concierge counter were quite helpful.

Really strange, they forgot to put a plug in the bathroom for the hairdryer...And in the room, plugs are not close to a mirror. I don't know who has taken this decision, but this is really completely out of sense. Room is ok, but I could hear my neighbours having their shower... and unfortunately, my room is close to the elevators, thus noisy. Not a good experience so far
