The staff was great friendly and acomadating. I've stayed at this motel numerous times over ten years and recently it has improved tremendously. Clean. Inviting. Free WiFi is,always nice. Just think they need acknowledged for the nice job cleaning the place up over there years

This hotel says they will leave the light on, we'll what does that really mean? To most people it would mean you can check in 24 hours a day 7 days a week. When a hotel says they have a 24 hour front desk and they will leave the light on that's what I would think and I would imagine many people would think the same. This Motel 6 and maybe all of them who knows, will only let you check in until 12 midnight. When I called to ask questions about checking in because we wanted to know where it was located across from etc. I also asked Do you have a 24 hour front desk? She said yes, I said great so if we get there around 12:15 we can check in. She said no! I said what? You have a 24 hr front desk but I can't check in at 12:15. She said no, you will have to check in at 3 the next day. I said"so what time do you check in until" she said midnight. I said"but you have a 24 hour front desk?" Don't really understand why the you would have people at a front desk 24 hours and not allow people to check in. Luckily we got there at 11:50 because we skipped stopping to eat so we could get there one time. The rooms were not nice at all, the bed was wobbly and when I layed down felt like it was going to collapse, the chair they had in there had a huge rip in the arm, I will post a pic. They may leave the light on, but if you show up at 12:01 don't expect to be able to check in and get a room. Per the redheaded fort desk manager who was not very friendly!

I stayed 2 nights, one week apart. The first night's stay, I had a more comfortable bed. I did have to kill a large spider in the bathroom...not cool with me but at least I saw it & was able to kill it. The second time I stayed, different room, the bed was VERY hard on the edges and the mattress actually sank in when I sat on it. I slept okay but was surprised with the poor mattress support. The rooms have NO HAIRDRYER! If you need a hairdryer & are staying here, bring one. Rooms had a cigarette type odor although they're supposed to be non-smoking. My sheet had a cigarette burn hole in it the first night, the second night...I didn't notice any. The hotel itself is old & the rooms are old looking...clean but you can tell it's been there a while. The pool is in the central courtyard & was covered up which was fine w/me b/c I wasn't there to swim but still, it was unavailable. They DO offer free shuttle service from the hotel, just call and ask for a ride! VERY, Super friendly staff. I told one desk mgr that I needed a plug for my charger and asked where a store was in the area, she gave me an extra one! The lobby has a snack machine but I didn't notice anything else like a coke machine or coffee, etc. I don't think they offer any type of breakfast. This hotel is about 1/4 or so from any eating places, mostly fast food but Shoney's is nearby also. Overall, I'd stay here again if necessary. The staff makes the stay more pleasant. I can overlook the rooms for that alone.

The commode was noises every time you flushed. The curtains were not secure to the wall so people walking by could see into your room if they wanted to. Nonsmoking room however blankets were from a smokers room and had several cigarette holes in it. Very cheap hotel for timeframe needed. Close to lots of restaurants and staff was very friendly.

Hotel was pretty easy to find, but crossing the highway was a bit of a drag, but it was easy to get to and from where we were going. There was plenty to do around there to keep busy. Room was OK, beds were typical hotel beds, but not the worst beds I've slept on in a hotel :) The one staff woman who checked us in and out was very friendly and helpful. I will have to say, I saw about 3 cockroaches in my hotel room and was pretty grossed out. One was even about nickel sized. Needless to say I was pretty freaked!

Outdated rooms. Chair in room was dirty and ripped. Musty smell. Continental breakfast was below average. Nothing terrible with this motel, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I use this Motel due to it's convenient location to the Airport where I can hold meetings for out of town guests that fly in just for the day and fly out afterwards. Your staff has always been Very Friendly, helpful and willing to accommodate me for each of my meetings. I will continue to use Days Inn Alcoa Knoxville Airport, knowing that I will receive that same satisfying service everytime. Thank You....

For the amount of money it was ok. Needs to be updated and spruced up. Great location for flying out of Knoxville airport

Great Great great great great great great great great great

It was over all a very good stay. Very reasonable rates.. Close to many restaurants..

It was never to stay there. The only disadvantage was the location, which is close to the airport. The price of this place is one of the best in the area.

Needed a decent, affordable place to stay for one night close to the airport and this was just perfect for me. The room was clean and very spacious with a king size bed. My only issue was that the lock on the door was somewhat weak and I had to struggle with it a little bit. Otherwise, no complains. I would definitely stay there again to save money.

Stayed there for a night and got heading the next morning. It was pretty decent for just a night s stay.

I booked this hotel because of the location to airport. The reviews were no where near what this place turned out to be. It was not a place to stay for women traveling alone. We walked in the room and walked out. Turned keys in within 10 minutes of registering. Not recommended.

Should be called the daze inn. Room was smelly, totally outdated. No ameneties. Front desk clerk lack luster and not friendly.

You get what you pay for. The motel room was outdated. The bathroom vanity was broken and there was a band aid stuck to the shower wall. The other room that my relative had was better but, the door would not stay closed unless you slammed it. We brought these problems to the motel's attention and nothing was ever taken care of. The pool was also closed down due to a bacteria problem. This is an old motel that has a lot of potential. I hope the owners work on fixing it up. It could be a really neat place!

I was pleased with my room and the service. It was an inexpensive room and the locations was good for me. I travel about 10-14 days a month and this is a place I would stay at again. The pool was "closed", not sure why...They said to "shock" it. I was there in July and stayed 5 nights and it was closed the whole time. But other than that it was a Safe place to stay, and I say that because I have stayed at places I would NOT want to take a family...."Days INN' Hampton VA. (The Worst Place On Earth".) But this one in Alcoa, I will stay at again. "If I'm Not wanting a Pool". Ask about the pool before you book if that is important.

I booked this hotel for my daughter (20) who was coming into Knoxville on a late flight and needed a place to wait for me to pick her up early in the morning. I called to see that they had a shuttle from the airport before booking. Even with their assurance that this would happen they had a cab pick her up, she felt the driver was a quite scary. Upon entering her room she found bugs in her bed. There was a large group of rowdy partiers right out side of her room so she did not want to go outside to go back to the office-again feeling a little scared. I thought her texts to me were probably an exaggeration but when I picked her up early the next morning I actually saw the bugs YUCK! I took her to get new clothes and bed bug spray immediately and put everything in big black trash bags for our 2 hour trip. I spent several hours after arriving at our destination washing and spraying to make sure we did not spread this problem to our hosts. What a mess, I went cheap because the wait time was only going to be a few hours but ended up spending double to make sure we did not take the bed bugs (which I did see) home! A huge mistake!

DISGUSTING. Lobby smelled like sewer, cigarettes and farts. Room was dusty, curtains falling apart, no hangers, no hair dryer and used soaps in the shower. Thankfully we were just there for a few hours.
