The room was mostly clean. Check in was very late becaise they were understaffed which was a downside. Overall, wasn't terrible.

nice stay close to interstate and steak house was great breakfast was awesome so will stay there again

Very friendly staff, clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced.

We had more relatives than house space. Some of us stayed in this hotel. The staff were very friendly, and the hotel & fitness room were clean. The free breakfast and free internet are great perks. Our reasons for a lower rating were 1) room was not completely cleaned by staff (perhaps a xmas staffing issue), 2) poorly designed bathroom, 3) poorly designed heating unit (no real thermostat regulation), and 4)drapes that are not designed to shut over the translucent day curtains (particularly annoying with a parking lot light shining through our window all night). It's a great value, for the amenities, but it could use a few design improvements.

Wonderful breakfast, pool algae ridden, staff great.

I had a VERY long weekend and needed a VERY comfortable hotel close to the airport. The Holiday Inn Express in Alcoa, TN fit the bill. Clean, comfortable and a restful room that was just the ticket and more! I was very pleased with the quality and would definitely stay here again.

I had reserved a non-smoking room but when I got to the hotel they only had a smoking left and they couldnt change me till the last night of my trip. My throat started to shut down on me when I slept at night so I had to start sleeping sitting up. Needless to say that is very uncomfortable. I could smell that room on myself when I would leave for the day too. I was not happy with the situation that I was paying for.

Mold on the tub caulking and on the vanity backsplash. Ceiling tiles with holes in them. Poorly patched walls. Seems like the rehab of the property was left half done. No need to stay there again.

Didn't spend much time in the hotel, simply needed a place to sleep at night, but I must say, the staff was terrific. They made the stay feel more like a 4-5 star hotel, rather than the 3 star it is rated. In regards to the hotel itself, bed was very comfortable, clean room (felt comfortable walking around barefoot), gym was a little on the small side, but there is a pool which is simply fun. Close to the airport, which made the trip convenient. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend, if anything, simply to show how an amazing staff makes a stay worth while.

Standard hotel and services. Found the breakfast selection to be above standard. Staff in breakfast areas were very friendly and helpful. Staff at reception were customer service driven. They looked up my frequent stay number when I did not have it with me. I appreciated the effort. Hotel is starting to look worn from frequent stays. However, cleaning staff did a good job.

The staff was great! The check in went smoothly and the next morning the breakfast staff was cheery and friendly and very helpful. They had a nice breakfast bar with more than just coffee and donuts. Also had extra over flow seating for the breakfast crowd in an adjacent conference area.

This was a one night stay with my daughter who was getting married the following day and wanted to be close to where she had hair and makeup appointments the day of the wedding. She was impressed with the room and we had a great evening together. I gave her a pedicure and manicure and we just talked the night away. She got very little sleep. She would not admit it but was excited about her wedding.

The staff were very friendly and the room was clean. They had a lot of construction going on in the front and parking was very limited. You have to check in via the back door.

I have always enjoyed Holiday Inns since I was a girl. This was just as nice as others I have stayed at however we had a major problem with our room this time. We could not tell if it had been cleaned for a new resident. There was a sleep mask on one of the beds, a stack of towels on the other. The beds had been made but I'm not sure if with clean sheets. We found three notes in the room telling someone they would be back from the pool. One on the night stand, one on the floor in the bathroom and one on the armoir. There was a pony tail holder in the tub, a long hair in the tub and an unwrapped glass in the bathroom. We did tell the clerk, she assured us that the room had been cleaned,..really? but they had been busy and the maids had hurried...really? There was no other room available to move to, we stayed, but not comfortably. I slept with my own pillow above the sheets. I felt bad because I have always liked Holiday Inns.

Great customer service. Very personable employees! Very nice complimentary breakfast. No complaints at all.

Attended Maryville College football game with family and friends. Had a good time but the pool water was cold :(

We were there for the Foothills Fall Festival. This was the perfect location. Enjoyed the soft and firm pillows, having both a refrigerator & microwave in the room, and the comfy king size bed. Also appreciated the nice breakfast served until 10AM on weekends. We could not find the HBO channel however. Our maid was wonderful when we needed extra towels, etc. Will definitely stay here again when we return for another Fall Festival.

Overall our stay was very good. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. We wanted a hotel close to the airport and this on fit the bill. Lot's of dining choices nearby. The only issue I had was that I requested a smoke-free room and the room did have a slight cigarette odor. I am fairly sensitive to smoke and so this bothered me a little. Overall a good hotel.

All was wonderful, just there was nowhere close by for my teenagers to walk to. There was only 1 towel in the room..... no big deal, got more towels on request

we were traveling on motorcycle to visit family and found weather turning cold on second night so we had to leave early/ hotel personnel said [...]have never had this restriction with other hotels/ we will always use hampton inn from now on..
