Great...plan on staying there again. Although it is a little on the expensive side I consider it a treat and worth the stay. The front desk employees were so nice, each and every one I ran into. I believe it was Brandy that gave my massage and facial and I loved it.

Everything was good except Shuttle to and from race track. Need 2 work with track and drivers of shuttle. 1 driver from last May drove 2nd night and was so much better. Pretty sure the race fills ur rooms those weekends. Try and get the shuttle figured out and everything will be good so you don't lose business on those weekends.

A little disappointed in the room and the price. No Restaurant , no free breakfast, no fridge and no microwave. The bartender was hilarious, we enjoyed his service on Thursday night. I did like that the hotel was very quite and pretty.

We had a great time and would not only recommend the hotel to friends but would also entertain the idea of making a return trip ourselves. However, the room was slightly overpriced. Some room items need to be replaced and/or updated. Also, I read many reviews with the same issue, and I saw no attempts from the hotel to address the issue. That issue being that the entire room becomes extremely steamy and condensation developes all over when the jacuzzi tub is in use. If these issues were addressed I see the hotel making many more customers happy.

for the amount of money spent, it is really not worth it. The hotel is in a shabby condition, and the signature fountain is in need of repair and well, water... It is not the same Chateau Avalon from years past. The rooms were not very clean, the breakfast, which used to be complimentary was cold and tasteless. NO BIBLE, don't appreciate that, and the American flag waving outside was replaced with a ANEMOMETER!

We had a great stay at Chateau Avalon. the robes are very comfy and it is extremely quiet here. Some drawbacks are that it is sort of far from downtown. But there us a little shopping mall and casino that a shuttle driver from the hotel will be happy to take you to. Guest services are very accommodating and don't forget to see Pat at the wine bar.

Everything was good except the breakfast! I was not pleased what so ever and went somewhere else to actually eat because the coffee was gross. It was precooked bacon and the biscuits and gravy was just like water I would never recommend that! But the tub was nice the room was clean but we could not even lay down without the bed squeezing it kept me up for a while. I would personally never go back unless they could guarantee me a lot better experience.

The first room we were in had shabby carpet and a very dirty exhaust fan in the bathroom which made the room feel cheap and creepy. Pat in the bar and Bailey at the front desk were great and incredibly accommodating. They helped us get our room switched. Pat went out of his way to give us a tour of all of the available rooms. Plus he makes superb drinks! Bailey was also very helpful in making sure we were satisfied with out room and gave us a ride to the casino. 5 stars for the bar, Patrick, Bailey and the rest of the staff, the rooms may be a little small and lackluster but the rest makes up for it.

My husband and I stayed at Chateau Avalon for our anniversary. The concept is great and the outside of the hotel is amazing. However, once you walk through the doors, that fades. It appears that no repairs have been made since the hotel was built (our sink wouldn't drain, the shower had a breeze, the finish was coming off the table, and there was a vent cover hanging halfway off). The staff was very nice and I enjoyed the spa, though it was in the same state of disrepair. I do not recommend adding any of the packages - ours was suppose to come with a choice of dessert and liquor, but the hotel did not have a choice of either and the hot chocolate was luke warm. Overall, we were glad to get away, but wished we had picked a different hotel.

We were very pleased and have never had an experience like we did here. The rooms were beautiful and the staff was wonderful and I would highly recommend staying at the Chateau Avalon any time anyone wants to visit Kansas City.
