The hotel was beautiful, but I didn’t feel like it was anything special. We went in January and on a week night so we got a good deal, but I wouldn’t have been impressed had I paid full price. We also had to pay $20 to park in the empty parking lot and I wasn’t aware of that beforehand. It was nice to have a restaurant on site, the menu was pretty limited though. The arcade was ok pretty expensive for what you can do. I did like the theme of the hotel it was very beautifully decorated.

Parking and access to facility is terrible. Room and hallway design created a wind tunnel noise in our room and we had to be relocated. Sink design means every sink pours water over counters. Restaurant messed up our food orders at both dinner and lunch. No access to food or vending after 11 p.m. Off season stay apparently means off season service level too.

We just wanted a weekend getaway to celebrate my son’s birthday. The main requirement was a fun indoor pool. This was perfect. I will say it was super crowded Saturday night but we expected that. If you want a fun and affordable stay with kids that want to swim in the middle of the winter I recommend checking this place out. But try to visit on a weeknight so it isn’t as crowded if you can.

We decided to try the new location and stay the night before I flew out of town for my 50th Birthday Celebration Cruise. The front desk was so welcoming and upgraded our room to a balcony, overlooking the pool. It was such a beautiful view with the Christmas lights still up! Thank you for starting off my celebration trip with reminders on why to come back home! We will be back!
