Parking wasn't the best. Very small lot. Hard to get any place close to the front entrance. The room was very clean and spacious. Not sound proof at all. Heard lots of kids running the hall and a little dog insistently barking. Kids didn't bother us that much but the dog was annoying. The window by the bed whistled so loudly in the wind. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower had great water pressure. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. Fridge has ice maker but nothing to catch the ice in so we used a bowl that was in the kitchen. I'm pretty sure the doors by the stairwell are fire doors and are supposed to be shut but were wide open. There were some paper towels stuffed beside the sofa. Might want to check all the areas when cleaning the rooms. The floor looked clean in the kitchen but my socks got dirty walking on it so actually needs better cleaning. Very close to lots of shopping and dining options so that's a plus. The free breakfast was ok but you need to get to it quick or your options become limited. The room we had only had a shower which was fine but if you have children and need a tub might want to check that your room will have one.
It was all good
Always a pleasure to stay here. Very polite and attentive staff, as a female traveling alone for work I always feel super safe and never feel like I am in danger walking to or from the restaurants or my truck late in evening.
Best place to stay at the Legends by far! Staff is always very welcoming and friendly and the hotel is equipped with everything you need whether your here for business or pleasure. Always use this hotel when in town and need a place to feel safe and comfortable.
Staff was unfriendly and rude
The room was great. It had a nice big shower in a big bathroom, which was a huge plus for us.
Not a bad place to stay. Close to food and Malls. Clean also
Comfy beds. Nice kitchenette with all appliances. Pretty quiet, inspite of children present. Black out shade. They were super nice in spite of the fact we pulled in @ 3:30 a.m. Hot breakfast had good omelettes, french toast, and sausage. Many cold choices. Bathroom smelled a bit like bleach, which is a good thing these days. We had a king studio which had an ironing board, iron, and in the dishwasher were cleaned plates, glasses, and utensils. Great shopping across the street with other restaurants close.
We appreciate the location, but more important the friendly staff. Cara in the breakfast room was very sweet and helpful....her smile was a great way to start the day!
Location is awesome and I plan to book here every time I visit.
the room was huge and very clean and quiet
The facility is in great condition. The rooms size and layout exceeded our expectations. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. The pool is a decent size, and easily accommodated the needs of my family. The only opportunity is the water pressure in the showers. The pressure is mediocre an needs to be immediately improved. That is the only issue that I saw with this hotel, and hopefully can be addressed to make it one of the best bargains in the KC Speedway area.
Front desk service I had from the last time I was there made me feel glad to be there and he made me oddly feel safe, which made me want to come back, I never had my money held for damages, he only took my card just in case there was any damages. But this time the front desk service wasn’t nice and took my card but never told me I was gonna have my money on hold for any damages. I had to ask her why it was being held and she just told me that “we just have to hold it Incase of damages” but I told her i never gotten it held before and she never gave me a reason why it’s being held this time. She could’ve at least said something about polices changing or anything along that line. I felt like she was judging me because I’m 21 and “young” in her eyes. I always spend over $600 for a few days because it was a friendly place and the guy from the first time I came was super nice and made it fun and made me want to come back. Will be staying at a different place next time I visit Kansas City.
