Great hotel good location. Very clean, the hotel was a bit noisy. We could hear people in next room talk and people in hall way

A little expensive for a place just to sleep the night before surgery across the street at KU. Other than that it's a perfect place to stay.

Room was very nice and clean. Employees were polite. Breakfast was ok, but not great. Have been at other Holiday Express ' and the food was really good. Snacks were limited to a few choices and no chips. I would stay there again. There was a nice selection of restaurants with in walking distance and short driving distance.

The hotel was in a great location, only a couple of miles from many sites in KC such as Country Club Plaza, WWI Museum, downtown. Hotel is newly updated and was very nicely done. The desk staff was incredibly friendly and gave us a very warm reception when we arrived which really set the tone for our stay. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean. They left extra towels which I always appreciate. The bed was very comfortable and I had a good nights sleep because of it. No bathtub in our king room, but I loved the shower!!! There was a temp control on the wall that actually worked and helped to control the temp in the room. Although the heater/AC was very loud at times which is the reason I gave a 4 for room comfort. The breakfast was plentiful and kept very clean. The eating area was near windows so nice setting to have breakfast. One reviewer complained about the food. Yes the eggs weren't excellent, but they were edible. All other food was really good and there were plenty of choices. The hotel would be great for business travel, families with children. They had a larger mini fridge in room, a washer and dryer down the hall, and in the lobby they had frozen meals for purchase that you could microwave in your room. I have never seen that before. Also, on the main level is a Five Guys, Subway and other restaurants. Extremely convenient for travelers. And free parking! I would definitely stay there again.

It was very nice. Would use hotel again. I have not reached my experience text so I am writing this.

We really enjoyed this motel and it met our expectations.

The hotel was an easy drive to the stadium, where we saw the Kansas City Royals game. We booked the hotel last minute and it was a great value! Very clean, safe, and comfortable beds! We would stay again.

Came to KC to see One Direction. I was impressed with the hotel. Everything seemed new, sleek and modern. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was average but it was complimentary. Only took us 20 minutes to get to Arrowhead Stadium even with traffic. Very close to the Plaza which had shops and restaurants. Felt like we were in a safe area the whole time. Staff that I spoke with were friendly. Overall smooth experience.

This hotel is clean and affordable. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Ms B is especially friendly and always takes care of us at breakfast. We have stayed here in the past and will gladly stay again!

This hotel was very conveniently located close to the hospital. It would be a good place to stay if you're visiting family. The rates were affordable. The breakfast, however, was kind of odd. They only had strawberry cream cheese instead of plain, and the egg "omelet" looked like it was made of plastic and had what looked like the highly-processed Kraft cheese singles melted in the middle (which also looked like plastic).

This was a last minute stay the price was good and the location very convenient.

took a weekend trip to Kansas city to go to a Royals ballgame and shopping at plaza and legends. This is a good central location to get to all these, plus added a visit to oakpark mall which was maybe 6 miles from hotel. The room was clean and quiet. Free breakfast was a plus. The first morning there, we didn't think the AC was working correctly. Reported this to the front desk, when we returned later, the AC was fixed and the room was cool.

The hotel was very close to where we needed to be. The room was really clean and had an excellent bathroom. The only negative was that when we tried to leave early in the morning, it was difficult to track down somebody at the front desk.

This hotel was a great place to stay for a couple days.. It is very secure, clean and the location is perfect. Great bang for your buck!

We chose this hotel based on other reviews. It exceeded our expectations. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. It was close to UMKC, which we were visiting, and close to a lot of good restaurants. The room was big, clean, and comfortable. I am a stickler when it comes to pillows, so it wasn't surprising that I didn't love the pillows, but I certainly didn't hate them. Highly recommend!

Despite having to work out some computer glitches which delayed our check-in (could have been extremely inconvenient for someone who didn't have other things to go do), the staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. I think any problems we had (check-in delay, short on office staff, slow elevators) were due to being open only a short while. The breakfast was nothing special, but the breakfast attendant made an effort to greet and talk with everyone while restocking food items and cleaning the area. She made you feel like you were her best friend she'd known all her life. We couldn't check out without telling her goodbye!

The hotel was modern and seemed to have just been built, if not it was one really nice hotel. Sercurty features was really cool. You needed your room card to access the floors with rooms( nice safety feature). Breakfast was great with a lot of choices. There was a fridge, microwave and a really nice standup shower! Room was clean and bed super comfortable! There was a restaurant below called "five guys" and also a clean seven eleven store ( no gas station ). Nicer then some other hotels in the area for higher prices.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and spacious. Located near many dining facilities and not far from stadium. Hotel even had sheltered parking garage with locked door, access with room key only.

Hotel was very nice, only complaint is I had booked a package trip through a travel website and prepaid my flight and hotel. After my trip, I receive my credit card statement and Holiday Inn has charged me again! After a 45 minute phone call, this problem is supposed to be taken care of and a credit issued to my account within 5 days. I am waiting to see if this happens as promised, think maybe the problem originated at the travel website, but not sure as the charges were from the hotel specifically. We were in KC for a wedding, with activities on both the Missouri and Kansas sides. We were only a short drive from each. The hotel was secure, you had to use your room card to operate the elevator to the guest rooms, parking was no problem. There is a very nice, clean 7 Eleven store on site and also a Five Guys burgers, so you could have a meal without having to drive anywhere. Very easy drive from the airport also. Only other issue was our room was not cleaned, which was not a problem in itself, except I had to track the maid down for fresh towels and to empty the extremely small trashcans. They really could use a bigger trash can in the room, the 2 tiny ones filled very quickly.

I needed to visit KUMC, and this hotel is very close to it. Moreover the hotel is just very clean and comfortable in every way.
