While the room itself was mostly clean, the entire property is under renovations. Pulled up carpet, furniture in piles at the end of hallways and out in the parking lot, pile of mattresses outside...it was a lot. Maybe consider renovating in sections of the hotel? Check in was, well, awkward. Two employees were at the front speaking and when we walked in, one bolted and the other ignored us while she completed her "filing." She was not the friendliest person on the planet but wasn't entirely rude. The directions she gave us to the room were sketchy and hard to understand and as a result, we got lost in the expanse of the old hotel. Hopefully, this hotel will be nicer once they complete renovations, but the place is kind of trashed right now with the piles of chairs, mattresses, etc. Also, not all outside doors work with the room keys...most of them are keypads so it is terribly inconvenient with such a large building. Probably won't be back. Weren't impressed.
