The property is clean and generally well maintained, with a nice pool area and an on-site restaurant.
However, multiple issues significantly reduced the value of the stay. The bathroom layout lacked doors for showers and toilets, and one bedroom had no toilet at all, resulting in very limited privacy. Although the porch was large, the balustrade was so tall and solid that it almost completely blocked the view.
There was an intermittent sewage odor across the resort, at times strong enough that we had to keep doors closed. The kitchen lacked basic starter items such as dish detergent and a sponge.
The laundry facilities were poor and overpriced: $6 to wash and $6 to dry, yet the dryer did not work properly—even after a full 45-minute cycle. There was also only one washer and one dryer for the property.
Most importantly, we booked and paid for an ocean-view villa but were assigned a garden-view unit instead. The property refused to refund the price difference and suggested canceling through Expedia and finding alternative accommodations, which was not realistic. Expedia attempted to assist, but the issue remained unresolved because the property declined to authorize a refund.
The accommodations provided were not as described at booking, and the lack of resolution significantly affected value for money. We would not return or recommend this property.
