Great room! Very clean. Staff was kind.

We liked the Dive Encounters Scuba Diving facility and the folks that worked their. We did not like the fact that LionsDive Beach Resort would allow smoking at a place were they serve food. To my wife and I this was very disgusting and un-sanitary.

The view from our room and the staff was very good

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment at Lions Dive overlooking the 50M pool and we were very satisfied. The resort is beautiful and well-maintained. The location of the resort is great since Mambo Beach Blvd and the sea aquarium is right next door. The resort restaurants are expensive, so we ventured out to other restaurants since we rented a car (highly recommend renting a car at the airport to save money). The hotel service was great from the front desk to the maintenance workers. Our A/C wasn't working properly on two different occasions so I notified the front desk and this was taken care of promptly. The rooms are very modern and clean. Another great feature is the resort shuttle takes runs twice per day to the 'American' supermarket (Vreugendenhil) and Downtown Willemstad, so I recommend taking advantage of this. The beach is stunning and not too busy. My only observation was that cruise passengers made their way on to the beach one day and they took up many of the chairs. You could tell they were on an excursion because of their wristbands. I feel that Lions Dive needs to police this better by having someone patrol the beach. Overall, we were happy with our experience so we'll be back! If you are travelling from the US, purchase electrical outlet adapters from Amazon. The rooms are wired with European electrical outlets.

My wife and I got back from an 8 day stay at the Lions Dive Resort. I can't say enough about the wonderful time we had. The entire staff was extremely helpful and pleasant, the grounds where meticulously maintained and with a dive shop on the premises there was everything you need. We rented equipment from Ocean Encounters and dove some northern dive spots from shore and also went out on their dive boat, very professionally run operation. We ate many meals at the resorts restaurants and where not disappointed. There is also many restaurants to choose from on the Mambo Beach BLVD. My wife cant what to go back!

I stayed a two Lions Dive with two of my friends from college and would highly recommend to anyone visiting Curacao and wanting to stay on Mambo Beach. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The beach is clean and really well kept and we never had a problem finding open chairs. The on-site restaurants that are a part of Lions Dive are great, my favorite being Nemo. The one thing I’ll say is the stores nearby feel a little like a tourist trap, everything is super expensive, but there are a TON of bars and restaurants nearby to check out. We never went to the same place twice.

Very nice hotel on Mambo beach. Close to many restaurants and bars. Lots to do and easily facilitate signing up for excursions, trips to town, etc. Plenty of people around, but not so crowded that you feel cramped. Really enjoyed this hotel and Curaçao as a whole.

The beach was perfect, my wife felt safe and relaxed there alone while I was on the dive boats. The dive Masters and staff at ocean encounters were professional and fun. The trip was great, it's the first out of 6 Caribbean islands I've been to on holiday that I would be happy to go back again.

We had a great stay. We received a complimentary upgrade to an apartment that was incredible and really made our trip. Rooms are modern and clean and the resort is beautiful. They have an incredible Olympic lap pool that my family used a lot. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. We will be back and I highly recommend the hotel.

This is an older facility but supposed to be undergoing reservations this spring/summer. Staff was good. Lights in room never did work right, had to turn main power off to turn off bedroom lights (so no light in bathroom) but the TV stayed on thus was tolerable as it gave off light but we had to lv it on all night. Bed pillows so uncomfortable had to give up and roll up a quilt for pillow. Great beach and restaurants. Nice for first timers to Curacao. We bought transfers in advance for shared ride $42 round trip airport. Cabs were plentiful at $15 one way to hotel (w/o tip) so no worries about booking a ride in advance. Had odd way of handing out beach towels. You get one but have to take it to the lobby and trade in for new one. Surprised this was not managed on the beach. Beach bar lively and fun. Some shops adjacent to property. Set up had fun water playground for kids which kept families a distance from adults vacationing and not wanting kid antics in your face. That set up was brilliant. Overall great for all ages.

We were very pleased with our stay at this hotel. what not to like! Our room was very comfortable with a nice balcony and ocean view. Coffee in the rooms was very good. Sipping coffee every morning looking at the ocean - priceless.

Great restaurant with entertainment right on beach- walking distance to shops and nightlife

Overall I was happy with Lion's Dive however, I would not consider it a 4 star resort like I thought I was booking. The rooms were lacking a bit. My room had incredibly poor lighting and no luggage rack. Also I had a king sized bet yet the covers were two separate twin size covers. Was constantly having to readjust my sheets in the middle of the night. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. I was particularly fond of the bar manager at Hemingway's. Unfortunately I did not get his name but he was awesome! One of the best bartenders I've ever met. I liked that they had a dive shop on the resort, they were also great. Would I book again? Maybe, but I would need to see if I can get a better room before doing so.

Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Rooms were bright, clean, and well air conditioned. There are plenty of lounge chairs at their beautiful beach. The bar by the beach makes great drinks, some of the best we had during our whole stay on the island, and we drank at a lot of places! We also had dinner at Nemo, their more upscale restaurant and it was fantastic! Prices on the hotel property for food and drinks are a bit high than if you ate or drank off hotel property, but in general worth the money. Would definitely recommend this hotel over many others nearby.

The hotel was very clean and the food at Hemingway's was really good. It was cool to see all the iguanas hanging out on the property.

This was by far the BEST vacation ever! I LOVE Lions Dive! This was the perfect place, with the most perfect beach and plenty of stuff to do within walking distance. There are several restaurants on site and several right around the corner at the mall on the beach. EVERYONE was super nice and helpful. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE bothers you on the beach. It is so peaceful and relaxing. NOT crowded with plenty of places to sit in and out of the sun. Snorkeling was the best and everything was super clean. The pool, OMG the most awesome pool ever! The temp of the water was amazing and the view while swimming, priceless!

Great facility directly on the beach with direct access to nice reefs a 30 meter swim from your beach chair. I stayed 16 days and loved the place. Helpful and friendly employees at the desk and dive shop and pool bar. Only two minor negatives to the whole trip: the hotel uses an electronic key system like all modern hotels, but here, if your key gets within 10 feet of your cell phone, it will no longer work in your door and you have to traipse back to the front desk for a new one, which often doesn't work either, because there is a timer on the locks which won't let you gain entry for about 10 minutes (which fact is apparently unknown by the hotel staff). This happened to me 4 or 5 times in two weeks and was a real pain. Second, the on-site restaurants (some of which are independently owned) take forever to deliver food and then when your check comes, it's all messed up, with your neighbor's order on it instead of yours. Minor stuff, though, and this is a great place i would definitely return to.

My economy "run of the house" room actually had nice view over docks and ocean. Hotel and Dive staff were great, helpful, pleasant. Beach is ok, not awesome, but very good for swimming. Great gym and exercise classes. Easy access to Willemstad & other areas. Overall a great stay!
