Very much liked my room with the open view of the Pitons, the unique hot tub that I found very relaxing, the main pool that had an awesome view of the Pitons, the view from the restaurant. The restaurant seemed overpriced as the food wasn't to die for. The view was amazing, which may explain the higher price.
Amazing room and view. Incredible professionalism and attention to detail by the staff. Very nice amenities. I enjoyed the pool in my room as well as the main pool, and also enjoyed the unique hot tub.

Staff are amazing and friendly rooms were gorgeous with lovely views best wake up experience ever. From the day we arrived to the day we left the service was great every activity we wanted to do was arranged by the staff any restuarant we wanted to go to the staff would make reservations and arrange a taxi to drop you off and puck you up. Best vacation ever.
What is there not to like about Ladera. The staff was amazing and the view was breathtaking. I wish I could wake up to a view like that everyday.The only thing I think they should inform there guest about the 50 dollar fee per chair at sugar beach. Other than that had a great time with my husband.
First time in St. Lucia, and without a doubt picked the best resort on the island - could not ask for more - friendly staff, clean rooms, everyone of them is unique and has a picture perfect view of the Petons and the bay... There is no reason to look anywhere else, this is as good as it gets.
The views are amazing. Its definitely pricey, but the experience was definitely worth it.

A song comes to mind when I think about The Ladera Resort; this could be heaven or this could be hell. We travel often, mostly staying at Ritz, Langham, Breakers all club level. So with that being said The Ladera is distinct . We booked the Gros Piton Suite and it was very nice, yes open air concept, yes we had birds (hummingbirds) , bugs, and butterflies the size of bats, but we enjoyed it! Did not like the frogs though, they sing from dusk to dawn, almost sounds like crickets amplified ten thousand times over. The room was always stocked with comp refreshments, fresh towels , room was always kept very clean, turn down service was prompt. When we arrived we were greeted with refreshments and taken to our room where a chilled bottle of Champagne was waiting for us. Plus the bed had flowers petals scattered on it. (Romance). We did not have any problems with vehicle noise, I don't think many people drive around there. Which I would highly recommend renting a vehicle, we did and went all the way up to Castries. Note drive on the left side and wheel is on the right. It only speaks adventure. In a nutshell, we loved The Ladera, great food, excellent staff, amazing views and overall beautiful resort, and give much accolade to the owners and mangers who made our trip wonderful.
