The Westin Houston, Memorial City

Booked on a express website for a nice price for a great location off the katy freeway. Right down the street from HEB, other eating places. Also connected to Memorial Mall that has cheesecake factory and alot of other eating places in the mall. Clean and quiet room with easy access to the parking garage (extra). Free wifi. Great value for the price if you can find it. Maybe just average at the regular website price but still a good stay either way.

It's been several months since I've stayed here, so a little weekend getaway was long overdue. Work & life have been highly stressful lately, so I was very much in need of some rest & relaxation in some comfortable and beautiful surroundings. The Westin Memorial City did not disappoint. Yumei at the front desk checked me in. She was very warm and welcoming. I always prefer a room that faces towards the mall & not the freeway. I find the rooms quieter, and for some reason, the beds feel more comfortable. Unfortunately, there were no standard or deluxe king rooms available to accommodate my request. Yumei suggested that I might want to upgrade to a king suite. Since the price difference was reasonable, I went for it and I'm glad I did. The room was very beautiful, comfortable, had a great view, and was immaculate in every way. Can't rave enough about the heavenly bed and bath. Besides the room, there was a nice extra touch from management that I totally was not expecting and I must commend them for going above and beyond to make sure my stay was satisfying. I would also like to compliment the housekeeping staff. They did an amazing job and their hard work is very much appreciated. Thanks so much for the outstanding weekend!

This is an outstanding hotel in the Memorial City area of Houston. Probably the best place to stay in West Houston. The only negative is the shower with pressure so low it takes quite a will to get through. First, it has a rain shower head which looks cute but is not good for good water flow. It also has a handheld with pressure so weak it is useless. My shower may have been an exception but still, not good.

I booked the Indoor Camping Adventure package for my daughter during the Memorial Day weekend - I kept it a secret in order to surprise her. And, because Liliana (Westin Experience Specialist) went above and beyond to make everything perfect, my daughter was extremely excited with it all! From the teepee, to the stuffed armadillo, to all of the personalization for my little princess, everything was wonderful! Thank you so much to Liliana (and the rest of the Westin staff) for making it such a memorable experience!!

I work with several hotels, I can confidently say this staff is the best in the Houston area! Jeanette Pizano and Adam Rineer are on top of their game! When we have guest speakers, we book them at the Westin, they always enjoy their stay. I highly recommend having your event or staying as a guest at this hotel.

Good location convenient to I-10/Memorial area. Appreciated a starbucks inside home. Nice modern and clean. Had breakfast at the hotel which was very good but pricey ~ but not necessary out of line prices for this area however.

I stayed at the Westin recently for a professional meeting. It is a very nice modern hotel. The meeting rooms were good and all of the AV equipment provided by the hotel worked. The meals served during the meetings were good.

This is the hotel we love to stay when in Houston and visiting family. Centered 1/2 way for us between family and the downtown activities we like to do. Everyone on staff is extremely hospitable from the front desk, the restaurant, to the valet drive. Viviana who works the morning shift in the restaurant is a delight and we always ask to sit in her section when we visit. She remembers us and takes wonderful care, making us feel as valued guests. The guest rooms are spacious and offers amazing views in almost all directions no matter where or what side your room might be. The bartender in the lobby bar makes amazing craft cocktails. We even had time to relax by the outdoor pool located on the 18th floor (again with panoramic views). I find myself asking if this is a resort or a city hotel...???

The food on the 024 Grille chicken and artichoke meal with wine sauce was out of this world. There is a business room that charges a fee and Starbucks café on the 3rd floor. The rooftop pool is great and gym is really good as well. The huge mall is across the street for all of your shopping needs. I think the bar should stay open later in a big city like Houston.

My wife and I stayed May 11-14 for our ten year anniversary. We chose this Westin because it was cheaper than the Westin located down town and we didn't have a real need to be downtown. Let me just say that all staff we encountered were very friendly and seemed eager to help. Upon check in we were upgraded to the next nicest room category which I think was the King Deluxe and it was a great room. Big room for a hotel, huge bathroom with a tub/shower and another huge nice shower. There are mini fridges in the room which is nice. On the first day we came back to our room from an outing and found that management left a small bottle of sparkling wine, 3 strawberries and some cheese and 1 champagne flute (I called down for a second one which arrived in a reasonable amount of time). It was a very nice gesture. The next day my parents had wine delivered to the room and again only 1 wine glass was sent so I ordered another. Being short 1 glass seems to simple when the reservation is for 2 people that one would think 2 glasses maybe needed but the staff was so nice about it I didn't care. The pool and jacuzzi were nice and it's a great view up on the 18th floor. Also the hotel is in a great location there is a mall across the street with a sky bridge so you don't have to drive. And few blocks away is another great shopping and dinning area so you have plenty of food options nearby. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Also down in the bar they have new battery chargers for your phone so you don't have to carry around an charger or go back to the room when your having drinks which was convenient. Also parking in the garage is $14 a day with in and out privileges.
