Room was very clean, plenty of room. Staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. Thankful they allow pets as my dog was on this trip with me. Plenty of area to walk the dog and feel completely safe. Area is well-lit. Really appreciate that the front door is kept locked at night. Close to several great restaurants.
ZERO STARS given if it were possible. I am not surprised that this place has such terrible reviews on multiple sites. The "Manager" NANCY is the most unprofessional disrespectful poor excuse of a manager I have ever encountered. First arrive at this place and walk in the front right past a woman leaning up against the "NO SMOKING" sign doing what? SMOKING a cigarette. My first thought is there is no way this woman works here because A. She is smoking in a restricted area and B. She literally saw me standing at the front desk for almost 10 minutes ringing the bell with out ever acknowledging me! She finally strolls in to get me checked in. To make this long story short, this room was prepaid for 3 nights, and I was having trouble with one of my cards to put down the deposit. Give her another one and assume i'm good to go because she gives me my key and lets me haul all of my stuff inside! I get to my room and they knock on my door telling me the manager NANCY has ordered me to leave right away. Im like seriously??? You can't even give me a chance to move some money around in the bank and get the damn deposit covered?? "No, you have no money so you need to leave before we call the police." *this seems to be a common threat they use LOL* I acknowledge the manager and let her know that this is very unprofessional and a huge inconvenience being that it is thunder storming out and almost 10pm and I live nowhere close to this area!! She then tells me TO GET A MOTEL 6 BECAUSE I HAVE NO MONEY!! and to get off of her property. Her and her staff member Cecilia or whatever her name is (Heavily tattooed woman) begin degrading me and telling me they were going to call the police on me!! FOR WHAT?? she is screaming in front of her poor child. I exchange my words ( a few I am not proud of) and completely leave the property. 10 minutes later NANCY calls me from her PERSONAL CELL phone HARASSING ME!!! I could NOT believe how this woman was speaking with me, and the things she was calling me.. "Wh*re, B*tch, C*nt" the list goes ON. For things I said while I was there??? I LEFT the property! And for a manager to call a customers cell phone from her own after she left was completely uncalled for. Crazy to say the least lol. She then called the cops on me, and had to talk to them over the phone. Such a pathetic business treating customers this way. To top it off my room smelled like a mens restroom (urine). No thanks! Happily booked a Hilton hotel since "I had no money", I never would've booked with Comfort Suites if it were my choice in the first place.
We have stayed at this hotel many times when visiting family, but never again. My mother was very ill last March. We booked 3 nights to see her before she passed away. She died 2 days before we were to arrive. Hotels.com did cancel without any problem. I then received a phone call from the hote stating we would lose our money. We paid all up front. They did extend it to November, even though I told them I would not be visiting there ever again. I had no reason to go as my Mother was not alive. The front desk was very nice but said I would need to talk with the owner, who Never took my call. In November I called and explained I would not be coming and if I could give the room to someone else. The did say I could transfer to family, which of course I do not have there anymore as she has died. The front desk person referred me to the owner who goes by Pate, but this person would never talk with me. I really wanted to give it to someone else who's family was in the hospital as a nice gesture. Nope and it would not be extended any further. This is why if I come there ever again I will not stay there and will be letting the Choice hotel chain know of the aweful service.
The room itself was fine. It just seemed like a room with an extra tub. Don't get me wrong, it was nice to have but that's what you are paying for. I will go back again in the future for just a little "me time".
The room was clean. The staff was nice. The breakfast was just what you would expect in a motel. It was very close to the hospital I was visiting to see my family member. It was also quiet and the air conditioner was quiet. That is in itself unusual in a motel and very much appreciated.
Stayed 4 nites. This hotel just opened about month ago! VERY NICE employees from front desk to cleaning maid to maintenance man. Great location by restaurants & shopping. Spacious suites large kitchen & bath. Very comfortable bed! Pool, workout room, laundry room & free breakfast! We WILL RETURN!
I booked a room back in June so that I could attend my granddaughter's graduation. I had made the reservation for two rooms-one room for my son and one for myself, and we had no problem checking in; however, my husband called me the next morning to tell me that the hotel had charged our card 1200 dollars. When I called at the desk, I was told that I had booked four rooms-two in my son's name and two in my name. Because I checked in under my name- I was charged as a no show for the other two rooms-plus the extra hold that had been placed on the rooms. The receptionist was cool and not at all helpful, so I went to the desk to straighten things out...I thought. The hotel blamed the third party booking site for the double booking and told us to take it up with them, but they did agree to remove the holding charges...and later removed the extra days-as we had booked for three days. When we investigated however, it was clearly the hotel at fault. I had booked the room and made an error-so cancelled right away and rebooked. The booking site had hard evidence that the first booking had been cancelled-and that notice had been sent to the hotel, but the hotel refused to pay for the first two nights. Fortunately, we were eventually reimbursed by the booking company, but I will never stay at this hotel again. To be financially strapped over the weekend when we were there to celebrate, put a huge damper on an otherwise joyous occasion.
The staff was not very accommodating, almost sullen and putout if we asked for anything and smelled of alcohol! Hotel seemed kind of old. It is in a good location for a visit to NASA. Indoor pool was OK.
This was our first visit to Houston, Texas. The Comfort Suites in Webster had good reviews and good rates, so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. The hotel more than lived up to our expectations. It was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was solid. The pool was nice. The area around the hotel offered plenty of shopping opportunities and places to eat. Based on our experience, I highly recommend the Comfort Suites in Webster (Houston area).
On our road trip this was the most spacious hotel. They did have great staff and a nice pool. It was awesome for families. The only thing that was any issue they had satellite TV so kids don't have patience for static.
