When checking out we requested assistance with baggage. No one showed up. Also, there was noisy surrounding building construction that we were not advised of during booking.
Residences/hotel/staff were all excellent. Only one item needing improvement was the Italian restaurant. Pasta that I ordered was bland and tasteless. Otherwise I would give the Ritz Residences a '10'!
We were warmly welcomed with a special gift and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we loved having a lanai to watch the sunset every evening.
Wonderful staff, very helpful. It is also a nice location, situated in a slightly quieter area compared to many hotels in the area. Claim your spot by the pool early as seating is limited and goes fast.

It’s really great hotel and everything was beyond our expectations. The only problem was the valet parking. Not because of $40 per day, because valet makes daily in and out use, difficult and time consuming. I wish the parking was self parking instead of valet. Pool is small in compare to number of guests in the hotel. For some reasons the pool area and ground lobby was extremely windy in entire our stay although the whole city and other areas (even the beach) were not windy at all. Other that above items, no complaints and I highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are staying for a few days since the rooms are well equipped.
The Ritz-Carlton Waikiki was the best hotel experience I've ever had in my life. The rooftop pool is clean, luxurious, and private. The rooms are exceptionally clean, roomy, spacious, and awesome. The staff from the front desk to the pool attendants to the maids are all friendly and willing to go the extra mile. I will definitely be back here again. Thank you all so much! A special thanks to Mihoko Nemeth who made our stay extra special by helping with reservations and other logistics.
My stay was wonderful as always. My favorite part about it is the strategic location of the hotel in the entrance of Waikiki. Also lots of plusses with a grocery store downstairs, shopping a stone’s throw away, Dean and Delucca for my morning double espresso, as well as Eggs and Things across the street! What more could you ask?! My favorite thing in the morning... the jogging in the morning was perfect for a 5-6km run. Looking forward to my next stay!
Staff was very friendly, our room was upgraded to a one bedroom suite. Food and drinks were really good. Location to other restaurants and shopping were excellant.
