Stayed for two nights. It was quite comfortable. Clean rooms and bathrooms. The view is fabulous, as it can be since you're in Hong Kong. Tram line goes by in front of it, McDonald's is just 4min walks, and a lot of domestic food restaurants. It has a pool on top, - 28th floor. Three elevators, and a huge lobby with reception. Tv in rooms, minibar, safe.
we stayed there while we were in Hong Kong. The hotel has nice view of the harbor on the top of the building where the swimming pool is located. the view is great seeing the surrounding area. it is a good place to be in the middle of busy market, shops, restaurants. enjoyed our stay there, thanks :)
We booked this place for our recent stay in HK based on the photos posted on booking.com. The pictures show the place to be clean and neat, however the rooms were filthy and dusty. We found the rooms to smell like cigarettes and some old dirty rugs that hasn’t been clean for ages. It wasn’t a pleasant smell at all. We also saw some white bugs on the wall and when I smashed it the blood came out so I assume these bugs would sting you. I only found some bugs, but it could be more. The entire ceiling is full of mold. Spots of dark mold were all over the ceiling and you can see it visually when you look up. You can even find dusts all over their furniture. The bathroom is very small and dirty. You can see stings on the shower, sink and the floor. You can tell that there is poor, or no maintenance was done. The drain valve lever/plunger of the sink was broken. There is no way to keep the water going through the sewage line in the sink. So, we brought the issues up to the front desk and they agreed to switch to one of the available rooms on another floor. We found that the conditions to be the same, so we brought to their attention again. This time they didn’t do anything but told us that they will address our concerns to their management. So, we have no choice and end up staying in these dirty rooms for our 3 nights stay in HK.
I chose this hotel because I am platinum with Wyndham rewards. The hotel is in a bad area with smelly fish and dirty street however you walk 1 or 2 blocks away and it’s a better area and the mtr is available. When I arrived it was the night of the protests. I decided to take an Uber from the airport to the hotel and it was about $65 USD. Could be as low as $50. On the way back I took the Airport express and mtr. It was great. The hotel is close to the mtr. When I arrived there is a 24 hour security guard. The hotel staff is excellent. They gave me a room on the 27th floor overlooking the Hong Kong skyline. Wow. The shower had some mold but I’ve had this in mainland China at 4 star hotels. The room was clean. The bed is hard as a rock but I got a good night sleep there was no issue there. I paid $54 usd per night and I’ve seen the prices double. Not worth $100 a night. I think it would have been more fun to stay in tsim cha sui or central. There is a 7 11 on the corner of the hotel to go to in the middle of the night when you have jet lag. I got my pants sent out for laundry cleaner via the hotel. Only thing is that they kept on insisting to see my credit card again , wanting deposit , it went on and on. They wanted me to sign forms. Maybe I was exhausted from jet lag but it seemed a hassle. My card is already on file and we’re talking 60 HKD maybe. Anyways. The hotel is good. It is in a bad area and the shower is a bit moldy but it’s a nice place. Hop on the public transportation and easily explore Hong Kong
For us, the hotel is in a good location. In front of the hotel is a wet and dry market street where meat, vegetables, fruits and dry goods are sold. Also, there are dimsum eateries where you can get newly cooked dimsum good. In the area, you will find, different kinds of Chinese cuisine, coffe shops, jewelry stores, preserved fruits, roots, etc. There are also dubious girls walking around the street. Front desk clerks speak English clearly. The rooms are outdated and needs major renovation. There are molds in the bathroom. Nice city view and swimming pool up on the top floor. There is free shuttle service to MTR. Going to and from the airport is almost hassle free. Not sure how this hotel passed Wyndham's hotel standards. For the price of the room and hotel location guess it is ok. But then, it depends upon the guest booking the hotel room if the market location is good or not.
Considering that this is Hong Kong, this hotel is great. Big room, clean, nice staff, great location (metro station is a 10 min walk) and a nice view of the harbour. There is a nice restaurant but there are cheap food just outside, which is a busy wet market.
Staying with my family in a Family Room; requested for Harbour View but got the City View. No point taking the Airport Shuttle Service of the hotel as it's of no use. Better to catch a taxi from the Airport to the Hotel - Fare: HKD 430/-. Hotel should have an organised city tour for guests. Overall services - Good
English : Nice place. Located in a street that is full of local culture food and other things. Surrounded with everything u might need. Just one thing. The cleaning persons don’t speak English, which is not acceptable in Hong Kong. Not crazy English either from the lobby personnel. Got to work on that. The rest is ok for the price. Français : faut parler anglais les gars
It has mold in the bathroom, toilet not working and they didn’t change my room for 2 nights. Also they gave me a connected room then I could hear the other guest talking with his family since 4am until 7am. In front of the hotel has a street fair and stinks fish all the time besides being crowded and noisy.
My daughter and husband have just spent a few days here and oh my goodness they were so blessed to have been upgraded!!!! The room was fabulous! they have had such a lovely time! I’m due to stay for 12 days at the end of this week too and am really hoping for the same!!! I shall be writing a review afterwards so watch this space.... but seriously the staff were very friendly and helpful, the view fantastic , and the service they received really great! Will hopefully be using every time I stay in Hong Kong !!
