"We stayed here for 2 nights during a short trip to Hamburg from California to attend a performance at the Elbphilharmonie. For a brief visit built around a concert, the location worked especially well. The neighborhood felt pleasant and walkable, and getting around the city was straightforward. We had rented a car for a day trip outside Hamburg and had no trouble finding nearby street parking for the evening before returning it the next morning. The hotel has a distinctive sense of style and personality. Its musical theme leans more contemporary than classical, though the details gave the space character and made it memorable in its own way. Our room was clean, quiet, and thoughtfully designed, which made for a comfortable stay. One detail we appreciated was the option to decline housekeeping in exchange for complimentary drinks at the bar.
