We just stayed one night, but that was the best night so far in Japan. Warm, comfortable, beautiful view to the mountains and the golf course, delicious meals and most important warmest reception and attention from the staff. We definitely will return here. Thank you Hakone Sengokuhara Prince Hotel for your hospitality!

This hotel was really nice and had great views. The in-house onsens were well maintained and very relaxing. Beware of the no tattoo policy in the onsen...very annoying that the hotel isn't "with the times." The hotel was very isolated from restaurants or night life so I'd recommend driving if you can.

We stayed here for one night only (I would like more) on a griup tour of Japan. This is a beautiful hotel, and we enjoyed both a wonderful diner and good breakfast. The hotel is situated in lovely picturesque nature. I also tried the Onsen baths.

We stayed at the Sengokuhara Prince hotel last week, on a family holiday to Japan, and my only regret is that it was for just one night! It is a lovely hotel, with a picture perfect golf course attached to it. All the rooms come with a balcony, and the balconies are framed in an artful way, such that the golf course looks like a picture come to life. The rooms are large and comfortable, and of course, the jewel in the hotel's crown is the lovely 'Onsen' or Hot Spring. The women's section had three separate pools, one was semi-outdoors, facing the mountains. Soaking my aching limbs (after a day's strenuous sight-seeing) in the ever-so-slightly-too-hot water, breathing in the fresh, tangy mountain air - it was easy to imagine spending the rest of my holiday there. The hotel shuttle does a pick-up / dropoff from Odawara station, albeit once a day - so a little planning is required to ensure you can keep the timings. Other than that, there is a bus-stop about 600 mtrs from the hotel, from where you can get a local bus to the Cable Car / Pirate Ship centre (part of the Hakone loop)

After two weeks of travelling the country at a very hectic place this hotel was a piece of heaven . Surrounded by beautiful scenery , it is a real hot springs heaven . You find yourself in a different universe , tranquil , picturesque, zen. Rooms are huge with a little balcony facing tennis courts and the golf. Beautiful onsen! Very good breakfast and a good dinner grill buffet. They also have a shop with tons on goodies . It is remote but that's a part of its charm . We really enjoyed our stay there .

I was in Kyoto with my familyparents. One of my relatives was in a wheelchair during that time. I made the reservations and they had been confirmed. Their hotel site does publicity on the fact that although the hotel is not next to the train station, that they have a van that takes people to the hotel. By chance two hours before travelling to the hotel I called them. I was amazed to be informed by them that their service was only once a day at 11 am so we had to get there by our own means. The cost of the extra transportation was going to be twice as much as the cost of the hotel which was already quite expensif. Although I explained several times the situation and the fact my relative was in a wheelchair, that we were 8 people, etc, they just told me that it was not their problem. Worst of all to add insult to injury, durng all this time while I was trying to explain the problem, they hanged up on me like 5 times. The way they would receive my calls afterwards makes me feel this was done on purpose. So you can just imagine the stress of being in a foreign country, hours before catching a train to a new destination 300 km away and having to live this experience with one of your relatives in a wheel chair. SO NO I wouldnt recommend this hotel.

Stay here for one night, a bit far from the lake but close to the Pola Museum of Art, with good view, hot spring, a golf course and helpful staff. Not much restaurants around to choose at night. Would choose this hotel again next time.

First time to visit this hotel, but I like it very much thanks to a quiet, peaceful place and gorgeous hot spring. The hot spring water is a caring temperature with soothing touching. I could stay at an outside hot spring, enjoying a mountain view. The hot spring has a power to reduce everyday's stress and make you relax. A Viking style of buffet is excellent with so many kinds of dishes. Roasted beef tastes wonderful. A variety of wine can be added more. A couple enjoys a romantic atmosphere, but family visitors with babies are also staying. A request to the hotel. In the hot spring two foreigners were bathing with trunks. Some visitors stepped in the clothing off floor with slippers. Etiquette and manners of visitors are encouraged to improve. Hotel staff members are requested to monitor the guests' activities.

This hotel is in a lovely location, right beside a country club. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Full marks. Just be aware that the hotel restaurant is quite expensive but there are plenty of options nearby!

The main problem with the room was the steps down into it and the step into the bathroom. I also didn't like the fact that the sink was outside the bathroom. However, the fittings were good quality and the lobby was beautiful. Breakfast was excellent, with a good range of dishes.
