Absolutely loved our stay. The bedding, the private onset, and even the lifting toilet really made our experience the best! Let’s not forget the food!!!! We tried out the French menu and 10/10!!!!!! We would love to come back again and share the experience with loved ones.
We loved our stay and didn't want to leave! We had three nights in one of the Villas. It was completely private, the wood cabin was gorgeous and smelled amazing. We had a private outdoor bath in the villa and it was fabulous spending time out there. Both the traditional Japanese breakfast and the French breakfast buffet was a treat. Would recommend trying both.
This is a great place for a weekend get away. Everything in the town closes at 5 so be mindful of that when visiting the town. Food is very good and highly suggest trying the Japanese style breakfast at least once. It was a very neat experience. Traditional breakfast was very basic.
Highly recommend the traditional Japanese dinner ! Everything was lovely and the staff was very responsive. Beautiful and peaceful grounds, recommend a private onsen.
Our stay was amazing! We loved having the private onsen since was have a lot of tattoos, the was Japanese dinner was the best food we had our whole two weeks in Japan. The staff was so friendly, professional and extremely helpful. We would love to come back as soon as we can!

This place is simply fantastic! I stayed in villa #17, and it was an incredible experience. It was the most relaxing I’ve ever had. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and highly recommend it if you’re in the Hakone area.
Friendly staff. Comfortable bedding. Food options are very limited. Check in Process a bit complicated. Also there was mold on the ceiling of our private onsen. The public onsen isnt much bigger than the private one in the villa. Not as great as expected for the nightly price.
We stayed one night while visiting Hakone and wish we had extended our stay. This is an amazing property with an amazing staff. It was a peaceful and relaxing break after enjoying Tokyo. I would definitely come back for a couple more days.
An amazing experience!10/10 we would recommend to anyone traveling to Japan. Nuru-san was wonderful, very attentive, kind, helpful, and taught us so much about Japanese cuture and the food during the exquisite dining experience. Chef Akitoshi Hamanaka-sama is a talented artist and very detailed and passionate about his work. He was also considerate to accommodate a vegetarian diet with a variety of food showcasing Japan’s varied cuisine, and prepared the most memorable wagyu. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality!
An really amazing and comfortable room with a private onsen. Very relaxing and beautiful. The check in process was a bit confusing and it was hard to communicate with the staff about the local area and getting around so it made departure a bit complicated. Highly recommend if you want to just relax and stay onsite. The meals were plentiful and delicious.
This is a special place with excellent service. The private onsen was wonderful! The room/cabin was so comfortable, clean, spacious, well stocked, excellent products, safe, and private. The first dinner menu was one of the best Kaiseki experiences. The chef is talented! The second menu was good- but a step away from the first. My only recommendation would be to include non-alcoholic beverages with the included meals. These were available at an additional cost which is not consistent with the luxury and exclusivity of this property. Would highly recommend this property for anyone wanting a few days of quiet luxury, an onsen experience and peaceful beautiful outdoor surroundings.
Amazing property. Peaceful and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Hakone. Felt like we were the only ones for miles. 1st class service by the staff.
