If you’re considering booking a different Ryokan while you are in Hakone, don’t. This is the one. I would fly all the way back just to be here again. We only got to spend two nights here and we wish we could have stayed forever. The moment you get to Gora station the transportation to the hotel and then the arrival immediately puts you in a state of peace and relaxation. The hotel staff are all lovely and very helpful. They truly care and know what it means to be in hospitality. The dinner and breakfast both days was so tasty and unique. The dinner experience itself is worth the entire stay. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed and the private onsen is a real treat. I would highly recommend staying here if you find yourself looking for a true 5 star experience.

This ryokan was the highlight of our trip to Japan. The property is serene, the onsen is so relaxing, and the service was incredible. The food was delicious and abundant as well. It was truly a magical evening. Special thanks to Muna, our attendant during our stay - she was wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay for our honeymoon. The breakfast and dinner every day were fantastic, but the person waiting on us made our experience so much better. She was thoughtful, communicative, and very nice. The in room onsen was magnificent, the beds were the most comfortable we had stayed in all trip, and the spa treatment we received was excellent. The ultimate form of r e l a x a t i o n Taking local trains to Hakone from Tokyo was relatively easy and well worth the trip for this incredible ryokan. The staff was unbelievable, the open air baths were delightful and peaceful, the kaiseki dinner and breakfast were both exquisite. I hope I get to come back some day!

A true immersive experience

One of the most fabulous hotels I've ever stayed at. The service was impeccable, and the venue and staff really immersed you in Japanese culture. We were lucky enough to have dinner and breakfast in our room, which I highly recommend. We left the place feeling extraordinarily relaxed and energized and our only wishes that we would've stayed there longer.

Exceptional Onsen Hotel with Relaxing Setting

Nested in a semi-secluded hillside of Hakone, our spacious accommodation offered exceptional in-room onsen experience in a relaxing setting. The staffs were professional, courteous and friendly. Free pick-up and drop-offs at nearby attractions and Gora Station were wonderful to have since roads were pretty steep. Dinners and breakfasts were included and they were beautifully put together. Highly recommended.
