This is probably not the best Onsen hotel in Hakone. The renovated rooms are lovely, BUT much of the hotel needs to be renovated - especially the dining hall where the included buffets are served! It is hard to have much appetite when the floors are sticky and the entire location looks dirty. Hopefully they fix this soon, before scaring away more guests!
Our Senyu room was unbelievably wonderful but the hotel itself needs an upgrade. If you're looking at getting dinner at the property, please do Japanese style instead of buffet. Buffet food was abundant but quality was not very good.
Pretty view, Onsen onsite. Comfortable room with option to do western or Japanese style bed
