Spent one night at this holiday having got a "Black Friday" deal. Modern hotel. Room was spacious with double bed and sofa. Toilet and bathroom were separate rooms. Breakfast was fresh, hot and plentiful (even near finishing time).

Friendly staff in a clean, modern hotel. They upgraded us to a business suite! Gotta love that! Everyone was very helpful giving us ideas of where to go, what to see and where to grab some good eats! A 7 minute walk to Buchanan St. and 10-15 min walk to Kelvingrove Park.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the price is reasonable. Rooms are fairly standard and the buffet breakfast is worthwhile if booked in advance. The hotel is very family friendly. Only annoyance is car parking which is limited on site. However, there is a public car park within walking distance. Staff are helpful and friendly.

Since I'm quite often in Glasgow I stayed several times in the Novotel as well. It is not a fancy place at all, but they provide all you need if you just stay there for the night. Breakfast is ok, staff is helpful. A clear pro is, they have a small fitness area and a sauna free of charge! Location is great if you need to hit the road (M8) in the morning. Also in the evening there are plenty of great dining options nearby.

Novotel has now established itself as a firm favourite for business and family trips back to my home city. I am a fan of the Radisson Blu which was my go to place in Glasgow for years, but over the last 18 months the Novotel has won me over. I am a silver accor club member and the great service, complimentary welcome drinks, on-site parking, location, 10.45pm restaurant service (great for a late arrival), 6th floor 'gym with a view' ans late checkout until 2pm / 3pm on day of departure are unbeatable. This makes up for the rooms - which are perfectly fine, but not as good as the Radisson and the value for money is fantastic. This time I requested and upper floor with a good view over my home city and was given a room with 2 big windows with views across Glasgow City Centre to the South and East. The team at Glasgow Novotel go out of their way to make you feel at home and this has me coming back again and again when I visit Glasgow.

Stayed on fourth floor just one night and parked my car in secure underground parking the spaces are very tight any big car or 4x4 would struggle to manage but hotel is in great location and room I was in was great nice and clean and spacious staff are very nice and can really recommend staying here for the money you pay.

We were made very welcome on arrival. The kids were offered a small gift on arrival - the dog even got a treat! Room warm and comfortable, everything we needed was there. Bar area was excellent with games for the kids and a relaxed atmosphere. Bar staff were very friendly. We had a quiet comfortable night with a very good sleep. No noise whatsoever. The breakfast buffet was very varied and all very tasty. We parked overnight at charing cross car park which was discounted by 50% when the hotel validated our ticket. The hotel is situated only 5 minutes from the M8 motorway and only 10 - 15 minute walk from all the city centre amenities. All in all a very good stay!

Another great stay at this friendly hotel. We arrived at 10am on Boxing Day and they let us check in straight away which was particularly welcome as I had a medical emergency on way up and needed to get to a doctor. We had a lovely clean, quiet, comfy room - just what was needed . Staff are really friendly. Breakfast was fab, tasty, hot and freshly prepared . All in all it is a great place to stay when we are visiting family and feels like a regular home from home.

The Novotel in Glasgow Centre offered a Good Room with a Great Location and Helpful Staff. The hotel was walkable to the downtown section of Glasgow and the Hop On-Hop Off stop 19 ... which is a great way to see the largest city in Scotland. The small car park is a nice option for parking.

We stayed here in December 2017 as part of a weekedn trip to Glasgow for some rest and relaxation as well as some Christmas shopping. The hotel is modern and nicely presented. The reception staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and nothing was too much bother for them. The big bonus about this hotel is the secure underground car park, which is a great benefit for a city centre hotel. The cost is just £8 per departure, so if you are staying for a day or two, then this is much cheaper than parking out on the street (6p for 12 minutes), or in a multi storey car park. We opted for an executive room, which comes equipped with a nice coffee pod machine, bath robes and a separate shower room and toilet. The room was clean, well lit and had a TV mounted centrally if viewing from the bed. Our only compliant was that the bed was very firm, certainly much firmer than all the other hotel rooms we have stayed in recently. Despite having a central location, the room itself was quiet, with little noose from the surrounding streets. It's about a 10 minute walk to the main shopping area of Glasgow, but if you go along Sauchiehall Street, there's plenty of cafe's and coffee shops to choose from to break up the walk. We ate at the bar in the evening, and had a very nice meal served by a lovely waitress. Drinks service at the bar was also excellent, with a superb barman. Breakfast in the morning was a help yourself affair, with a selection of hot and cold foods, cereals, breads and a selection of juices as well as fresh coffee or tea. My one complaint would be that the toaster is noisy (it squeeks constantly), and you need to put your bread in 3 times to actually toast it. The first time around it just warmed the bread, and it got stuck at the back of the machine instead of sliding out at the front as it should do. We would certainly stay again if staying over in Glasgow for the night.
