Overall, a good value. Clean and safe. In town for a sporting event. Easy to find location and parking. Friendly staff. Breakfast was just the minimum coffee, waffles, cereal and toast.

Not what it once was
This hotel was a favorite when our boys were in college. Unfortunately this trip did not meet up to those fond memories. Difficulties with check-in , a new ( to me) $80 hold fee,leftovers in our fridge , no tissue but the worst was hearing every little sound from above us. Which I was I am awake at 4am writing this . With as many hotels Grand Rapids offers, you can do better than this based on my experience.

Sleepless night before early flight
Stayed overnight before early flight from Grand Rapids airport the next day. A vehicle alarm kept going off through out the night. Hotel offers long term parking for travellers. Staff double as shuttle service drivers to the airport, so they were not always at the front desk. In room phones did not work.

Home away from home
We travel to Grand Rapids from up north every couple of months and this has become our home away from home. Our rooms have always been clean, with a comfortable bed and couch. Wi-Fi supported a 1.5 hour Zoom meeting and streaming movies, and all of the appliances do what they're supposed to. We love having the space to have full meals in the living room!

Good value but slippery floors.
New building, so that helped. Little kitchen and sitting room so that was unexpected in a reasonably priced hotel. The only negative was that, being very new, the floors were very slippery. Not ideal for older guests.

We had two tvs in our first room. Great, but neither worked. In the middle of the night a wall unit started making a noise like a jack hammer. We finally went down to the front desk around 3 in the morning and ended up switching rooms. In this new room we could only hear road noise. The tv didn’t work here either.
