Overall this was a great hotel close to UND. The room was clean, there were several options for breakfast, a staff person was always available at the desk, the noise level was pretty quiet even though it was located near the hiway. The negative... Was really glad for a great deal on our room, but I feel since we got a terrific price we were given a room way in the back near the doors where staff and guests would go to smoke. They didn't respect the sign saying to be at least 20 feet from building. Therefor the smoke would enter the building and the wing we were in smelled of cigarette smoke. We also had a couple items in cups we had on the desk in our room with a note saying "Do not throw out". We returned to our room that evening to find that these items were gone. Third... We stayed 9 days and the first few days we left a sign on our door "do not disturb". Which to me means that the cleaning staff would not come in. On the day we didn't have the sign, which to me would mean the cleaning staff would come in to clean and bring new towels, it took an extra day for that to happen. Also they came in on a day the sign "Do not disturb" was out. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at this hotel again, but ask for a room not near the back door where smokers go.

I like that is close to the college. Then with the great price it allows me to see her more.

The stay was good. Being that I stayed as a single person in not sure why they chose too put me in a room next to a family. They were loud.

access to parking, chek in and chek out were super fast. Excellent breakfast and pool. The pool water was warm. My room was a suite with animal print theme, the decor very nice. Everything was clean. Not a luxury hotel but everything was clean and in good condition. I tell my next experience, I plan to return. Btw forget my headphones in the room and went for them the next day and had

needs some work in the rooms and around the hotel in general. You pay for what you get. Although the staff were very nice.

Good for price of hotel. Pool was warm. Hotel is outdated but very clean.

Generally the hotel met my expectations though there was an unusual flaw. The previous occupant had broken the tap(s) and I had no water for a shower in the morning and had to have a sponge bath in the sink (6 AM). The hotel will provide a complimentary room when I return via Grand Forks to Manitoba next summer. Perhaps if I had more time the outcome would have been different.

Nothing fancy here. Just a place to sleep and get ready for the new day.

Great management, switched around dates for me with no problems. Hotel is not the cleanest or the nicest, but I had no issues. Was cheap.

the bath room could be alot cleaner it was ok for one night

Bedding had spots/stains. Shower curtain had mildew stains.

Needs updating; paint, etc . Back hallway disgustingly dirty. Always good continental breakfast though!

My last stay offered a room that was in desperate need of an overhaul; fresh paint, carpet, bath/shower upgrade. This time the hall was dirty, a hole in the wall near the rear entrance, but the room and hallways had been freshly painted. My reservation was for a single room with 2 queen beds. The beds were NOT queen. The shower was great, but the bathroom fan made an annoying sound. The free continental breakfast was excellent both times.

We stayed for 2 nights, staff was accomidating, there was no microwave and no fridge as listed with our reservation, staff brought both within the hour. Breakfast was tasty, we made our waffles! The room was clean but needs updating.

The beds were very uncomforatable. They were old mattresses with Styrofoam mattress pads on top. DIrty room overall...baseboards pulled of walls..AC unit so gross & dirty didn't want to turn on for the dirt that blew out... Room had hole in wall that was patched & left with puddy...bathtub was rusty & shower head fell off when the shower was turned on, hubby had to screw back on...WIll never stay again!!

staff didnt have reservation on file, werent sure they even had a king size bed available! when they finally did get us a room key we went to get something to eat and came back the room had been given to someone else! They were very unorganized and we ended up with a different room no refrigerator or microwave. Just an Im sorry that shouldnt have happened from the manager. We we not the only ones with the reservation problems that weekend there were several others too.

This was just a room if you ,need one not anything else

friendly staff, very clean basic room, cheery breakfast area with standard continental breakfast offerings. A good value for a short layover.

the food was lacking everything the rooms had moss growing in the windows there was mold on the shower walls

good experience, restaurant was nice and close. went for class reunion.

Thank You for your response. I will pass along your concerns to our management staff for review. We are sorry about the cleaning staff mistakes and will take corrective action immediately. We have also addressed the issue of smoking near the building door. We invite you to come back and give us another try. Thank You.
