The toilet needed repair and we finally had to turn the water off in the middle of the night. The floor above us squeak so loudly when the guests walked on it we were miserable. They repaired the toilet the next afternoon and offered to try and move us to another room because of the noise made by the squeaky floors but they said it’s an old hotel and wood floors wood do that maybe the 3rd floor might have one we just stayed where we were, went to our event and checked out early the next am.

This is our second time staying here - we stayed for 3 nights while shopping in Grand Forks. Breakfast options are great. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The room itself was just what we needed. A nice bed, TV, microwave and fridge. Housekeeping changed our garbage the second day. The only complaint we have is regarding the check in attendant. Check in was easy with no issues. Later on when we returned from shopping the attendant let us know, rather loudly, infront of other guests that he was helping that our card declined. It was very embarrassing. For some reason our visa credit card only worked at certain locations this weekend so we didn’t think much of it, just didn’t like the way it brought up. Our statement showed that the payment went through the first time, but we went back to confirm anyways. The card went through (as it did the first time) and we were charged $191 instead of $3 for the incidental. Another trip to the front desk and we were told it was a mistake. The funds did go back to our card within 2 days. Glad we noticed. Overall, we would definitely return to the hotel for future trips.
