Clean and service was grandly but the rooms are outdated and old. The hallways also smelled like marijuana and beer. But the hotel was actively trying to get rid of the smell and they were trying to take care of their customers with a fenced in gate and cameras. We felt safe there. The pool is not heated. If you her the multi room with 3 beds, ask for the one with the rooms in separate hallways. Was perfect for our family or 4 easy access to freeways, store, and food.

I would’ve gave 5 stars until I received a call interrupted my sleep by one of the clerks saying one of the cleaners knocked on my door to bring me towels which I received already by two lady’s, and he went on and said my service animal barked at him which is not true, she barked to alert us that someone was at the door, but he got no response due to me being sleep but he goes on and say the dog was barking at him when I didn’t even go to the door so I’m very annoyed that he would go and say that and for the clerk to tell me that service animals don’t bark. Don’t know where any of them got their training but a service animal is still a dog and they bark to alert not talk. So please don’t ask someone if the dog would attack when I didn’t even open the door for the guy and she bark to alert us that someone was at the door. Very upsetting and now don’t want to stay due to this guy that I don’t know what he looks like cause I didn’t answer the door. It’s sad that you had to lie but don’t do that because you make this place look bad and people with service animals don’t want to stay. Especially when you get a call and they’re questioning you which that’s not supposed to happen but more training for service animals cause they do bark to alert.

Breakfast is always good and fresh the breakfast attendant lady is always so sweet. Parking is always safe. I’ve been staying at the Ramada off of Shaw since February. When my granddaughter was born and in the nicu. We travel to the children’s hospital often. I’ve never had a bad experience until last night. Unfortunately, we was checked into a room that the tub would not drain. The floor was disgusting stains all over the towels and a staff that checked us in was very rude unfortunately, the Front Desk lady had to come check the room to see if we were lying we had a bad experience this time. I myself is a supervisor at a navy gateway ins end suites in China Lake where we don’t question our guests we make sure everything is up to par up to their standards to provide a good and satisfying stay.. if a guest request to change rooms, we don’t ask questions. We make sure we have another room to move them to and do it to satisfy our guest.. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this Ramada in and never had any bad experiences. I hope my next visit here will be more pleasant. If not I will unfortunately have to find a different hotel. But most employees here are very friendly and respectful. So I will give them another try.

Two enthusiastic thumbs up!

Never got to use the pool, but we loved the lighting and atmosphere around it! Plan on using it next trip for sure! Room was amazing and we had not even the slightest nitpicking about it! Kudos to Ramada for having adjoining services with Tilted Kilt...had a couple drinks without leaving the property! Hands down using Ramada for every Fresno stay!
