Location was good, but just because it’s a budget hotel, doesn’t mean the staff have to be the same. Took 25 minutes to get checked in as the receptionist was counting the day’s takings before she would serve me. In the morning, went to have the free continental breakfast at 9.30am but the receptionist told me she had already cleaned up, despite breakfast was supposed to finish at 10am. Very basic amenities, stains of some unimaginable source on the walls of the hotel room.

Someone reserved this room for us without I guess checking on the reviews of this hotel. We only stayed on night. The room was not clean it was half clean we found items from the previous person that had stayed there. They don't have an iron or ironing board you have to go and ask the front desk and they will loan you one. I don't know if they charge extra for that since we didn't pay the bill. People outside were making noises you can tell that they were drunk. As for me I wouldn't stay in this hotel.

My experience at this motel was less than adequate. I never had an opportunity to speak with the manager as he was off for 3 days while I was in town and then my certified letter and phone calls were ignored. In Sept, I reserved a room for 3 nights as it was close to Yosemite National park. Our room had cockroaches and when the from desk was notified the person said "we will have to put it on the exterminator list". In addition, the outside lights are automatically turned off at 5am which means you will be walking and loading a car in the dark. Therefore, I suffered a bad fall which resulted in a black eye, scraped nose and cheek, and badly bruised arm and elbow. The desk clerk could have cared less. In addition, I was told my 3rd night was not available anymore as it had been given to someone else.

The cleaning of the room and the noise around the property. Security also seems to be an issue as we had the police at the property late at night because someone was using the laundry (probably not a guest as I understood). There is also a weird safe deposit at check in time to ensure you are not going to damage anything, something that I never saw in any of the hundreds of hotels I had opportunity to stay everywhere in USA. The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was spacious enough to accomodate the guests with confort. There are a lot of restaurants close by and a Starbucks almost in the parking lot.

Thought it would be o.k. albeit a bit run down, being right across from the University and several parents had placed reviews to it being tolerable. By staying here you become a suspect related to the significant crime associated with this facility. 4 visits by the police in two days. Staff is indifferent to the narcotics trafficking, theft, prostitution, and credit card fraud taking place by guests. No shampoo or even pictures on the wall, but at least a couple of feminine hygene travel wipes were left on the nightstand... go East even a quarter mile for a better location. Have stayed all over the world and this place beat the cheapest hotels in Naples and Paris for Sketchyness.

Rooms haven’t been maintained (towel racks, bath tub support pulled out) and no amenities but clean enough to stay one night. Breakfast buffet is skeletal. Long term residences appear to live there, jacuzzi not functioning.

We stayed here because we were going to a concert directly across the street. It is certainly not beautiful, my husband said it was like a “No tell motel” but we didn’t have the negative experiences that others wrote about. Our room was clean, and the bathroom at least was updated. The mattress was quite comfortable. The staff that we met were nice. They have Free Wi-Fi. Didn’t see any drug dealers while we were here. Price is low and nice to be able to walk to the venue across the street. There is a Starbucks next door and also Don Pepe Taqueria which is very good.

The property is run down, a real mess. The room was dark, dingy and filthy. There are no amenities, the room hasn’t been redecorated in 30 years and everything is cheap and nasty. The trash hadn’t been emptied from the previous guest, the blackout curtains had holes all over, the door security latch was broken in half from someone opening the door forcefully while it was engaged, the bath was in terrible condition, there were holes where fixtures used to be in the walls, the tv remote was unspeakably filthy (I had to wipe it off with multiple antibacterial wipes from my car), the furniture was old, dilapidated and filthy, the beds were hard and the pillows small and useless, the phone didn’t work, the tv is about 30 years old, and the floor under the bed hadn’t been cleaned for years of hair, gum, trash, tissues and band-aids. We asked for extra towels and were told, “No.” Had to request a privacy sign for our door. The worst was the old guy dealing drugs at the bottom of the stairs. The staff know him, he helps himself to the coffee in the lobby. He sits there day and night smoking cigarettes, looking at his tablet and selling drugs. So disgusting and very alarming that it was so obvious and no one did anything about it. The “breakfast” did not exist. All the machines were out of order and all the containers were empty. We wound up going to the Starbucks next door each morning. Simply the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Not recommended for anyone for anything at anytime.

Eek!! We would not have stayed if we had known or had a choice! We were in town for a sporting event and were put up by the promoter. First off, dog poop on what remained of the lawn creati a lovely aroma to walk to our room, duct tape holding the indoor/outdoor carpet and lastly, the lovely shower (NOT)! I'm not sure if the tub was this way from meth manufacturers or from scrubbing the last resident's blood out!! No, not recommended.

It a nice place without drugs. Don't know why the Hotel let's drug dealers because they have money just took over a nice family Hotel. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. Maybe if the stop all the drug user and people stealing and breaking into cars if I wanted to be around all that I would had stay on park way or something.
