Our first room wasn't clean. Second room got ants crawling around mini refrigerator. Third room, carpet got huge stained. Bedsheets and cover still got stained. Very disappointed. I regret ever booking at this place. Will never come back again.
The only reason we booked this hotel is our first choice was booked and something must have been happening in Fresno this weekend because all the hotels I called were booked. I should have known something was up when at the registration we were told that there was a $100.00 security deposit locked onto our card. "Oh but it'll be returned when you check out, no problem!" We get to the room; there was low lighting levels due to CFLs being used in the fixtures, and one of the bed lights was burned out. In the bath it took 7 minutes for the hot water to show up in the sink with the flow being restricted due to an apparent clogged outlet screen. The drain stopper handle was missing from back of the sink fixture so we had no way to properly stop up the sink drain. The toilet had to be flushed twice to completely clear the bowl after use. The tub was far from being clean like it should have been. At least the drains were not backing up. Wallpaper was peeling from the wall above the toilet. I called the desk to get the sink drain and the light bulb fixed and was told it would be an hour wait. I informed the desk person we had to leave and could not wait. She assured me they would enter the room to fix the items while we were gone. At 11:00pm we returned and found NONE of the work had been done. When I called the desk I was told it would be another half to three quarters of an hour to repair the things. I said forget it at that point as we were tired. We got up, did our things to get ready for the day and I go to fix a cup of coffee. I got a whole teaspoon of coffee in the cup and it shut off after 5 minutes of trying to drip a cup. Needless to say we will NOT be returning.
This was a terrible hotel. Booked it because it was a cheap place to sleep before catching an early flight out but it wasn't even worth what we paid for all the trouble it was. They put us in a freezing room with a tiny space heater (that wasn't even on when we arrived) because the heat was not working in the room. The worse part is that we found this out when we got to the room and saw the space heater, not at the desk when we checked in. No warning, no apology, no offer to help or fix anything; just a nasty surprise. Had to call in maintenance late at night and they couldn't help at all. Went back to the front desk to ask about this situation and they were unwilling to move us or help mitigate this crappy room in any way. Wouldn't stay here again if I was paid to. Outside of the heat and staff issue its just not a well kept or clean hotel. Very disappointing waste of money.
We had a nice stay at the park Inn. There was a very friendly service at the lobby. The room was clean and very spacious. We had everything we needed. Near the Inn were shops, restaurants and gasstations. It is also very close to the highway. Great.
Bad experience. Despite the friendliness of the staff and the potential of this place they let me down. The shower wasnt working the place is in the middle of a very bad neighborhood, the room smelled weird and overall it didnt feel safe to be here. It has no link with radisson anymore. The room was big but it seemed this hotel is a fallen masterpiece of a hotel of the 80ies. You do feel nostalgic but thats About it. With an upgrade this hotel has the potential to relive its topdays.
Nothing was like the ads for the place, no pool, no microwave, no chairs, no place to eat. I WAS UP ALL NIGHT BECAUSE OF THE NOISE FROM THE TOUR BUS PEOPLE! We have alot of that because we have alot of tour buses I was told by the front desk. I ASKED FOR A DISCOUNT BUT WAS TOLD TOO BAD. Worse place I have ever stayed at and will never ever go back.
I believe this motel was rated 3 star. I was very displeased. I would actually rate it 1.5. First thing that hit me was they would only give you one card key, even though you had 2 people. The office area was not to bad, but as soon has I opened the door to the building my room was in, a very heavy smell hit me that was not very pleasant. I started doubting that I had made a wise choice. As I entered the room my thoughts were confirmed. The room looked like it may have been a really nice room 30 years ago, but most of it looked very old. The rugs were worn and very loose. There was some rust in the bathroom, but everything seemed to work. Towels and wash clothes were a good size and quality, but we were missing one. The soap was about the size you get at motel 6. The bedding looked old and out dated. I had stayed at better places in Fresno for less money.
This is the worst hotel I have stayed at. Not affiliated with Radisson. Smells bad in lobby and halls, rooms are run down, carpet stained, broken shower and A/C. Pool is closed and is green, health hazard and breeding ground for mosquitos . 2 buildings are closed. Front desk girl wouldn't let us check in early Made lots of excuses. I asked the late night desk person about breakfast. "The restaurant is closed down but the microwave is open" referring to the dirty microwave in the lobby. Too bad, this was a nice hotel once upon a time according to their lovely photos
The Park Inn in Fresno has separated from the Radisson company. All of their Radisson logos have been removed. I'm assuming this is why they also no longer provide many of the services listed on their website. I booked this hotel because they claimed to have a free shuttle service to and from the airport, and also because they had an onsite restaurant. Neither of these things exist anymore. Also, at the time I checked it I was informed that the pool was being worked on and would not be available during my stay. Their 'newly renovated gym' included about six very used machines. The hotel is mediocre at best.
We arrived at 10 pm and got a room at the back of the property which was very dark and felt unsafe. The room was very large and had most of the normal expected amenities. Moreover, the room was not very clean and felt very old.
