Top quality from every end. Felt like being home. Will highly recommend to friends and family and will be my hotel of choice every time I am in Frankfurt. Best RF experience. Keep up the good work. The staff were the best part of this experience. Usually in each hotel, you find some members better than others. At Villa Kennedy, all staff were exceptional from the moment we arrived until the time we left
If you want to stay in a luxury hotel, stay here. Everything was awesome. The grounds, the staff, the design, the room, the service, the details - all of it. I had a room with a balcony overlooking the gardens. It was very peaceful. I took advantage of the pants presser in the room. I was offered a free drink at the bar and had some 15 year old Oban neat. The train to the airport was convenient as was the location of the hotel. The concierge mapped out a walking tour for me along with some tram rides. I have already returned!
I stayed at Villa Kennedy for two nights (March 9-11) and this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I travel quite often for work and pleasure and have stayed at many boutique and bigger hotel chains. I have never seen better service! The team, from the friendly reception staff, to the knowledgeable concierge, to the restaurant staff and the doorman, is absolutely incredible! I stayed in the standard room and had a breakfast plan, which was delicious. The hotel bar JFK offers a huge variety of cocktails and a fantastic atmosphere with a live pianist and singer who was amazing. This hotel is so elegant and beautifully-decorated that you wouldn’t want to leave. Can’t wait to come here again and try some of the other hotels in the Rocco hotels collection. Highly recommend!!!
Conveniently located near airport and city centre. 15 min taxi ride to airport and 26 euro. I walked every day to city which was about a 30 min walk along river . Hotel is very nice style attentive staff . Well appointed rooms and nice Italian style restaurant. Spa is excellent with well equipped gym sauna and indoor lap pool. Beautiful historic look and feel
We have stayed at the Rocco Forte Villa Kennedy for 2 nights in a double room and we had a nice time. Pros: The service in general was good and the location of the hotel is great. I stayed in other Rocco Forte hotels before and I can definitely say that the Villa Kennedy has still this personal “Rocco Forte Flair”. The breakfast is good and the dishes are delicious. The spa-treatments are great and the people running the show at the hotels wellness center are very good! Cons: While the rooms are spacious indeed, the furniture is very used and the bed was not that big as well as the quality of the pillows was not good anymore. But after I have asked at the reception - they gave us new and fluffy pillows. Bathrooms are clean but you can see as well as in the rest of the room that a lot of people must have stayed here but the amenities are good! Rooms are in a need of a refurbishment. Also the complimentary WiFi was not that fast - we had trouble to open even pictures and stories on instagram and the quality of the basic WiFi was everywhere the same (room, spa, lobby, restaurant) very slow. All in all our stay was good and I would not choose another 5-star-hotel in Frankfurt - they are all a bit “basic”.
We stopped over for two nights on our way back to California and were extremely pleased. The staff went our of their way to make sure that we enjoyed our visit (e.g., since it was our first time at the hotel, the person who checked us in, showed us to our room). The room was spacious and welcoming, outfitted with an updated causal-smart feeling, including art work (e.g., three B&W photos of Frankfurt buildings over the bed) that was actually interesting. Furnishings, bedding, towels, robes, complimentary shoeshine service, espresso maker, etc. as well as lobby and entry all met our expectations for a five-star property. We liked the location, near the River Main, apart from the busy-ness of downtown. We will return...
It used to be a very good hotel but the quality is considerably declining over last years. Now, I would say it's merely mediocre in the category of luxurious objects. Specifically: * Quality of food is not that good as it used to be. In-room dining menu keeps changing. The most interesting items are removed. There are no good desserts anymore. Portions of what is left are getting smaller. Occasionally, we observed problems with quality or freshness of ingredients. * Quality of breakfast menu is also declining, although it is less visible (e.g. cheese selection, quality of mozzarella). * This hotel used to offer very good bathroom cosmetics. Last year they switched to their own brand which is on par with products offered in cheaper objects. In summary, it seems that this hotel introduced a strong cost-cutting programme that jeopardizes service quality. This is surprising for an object that wants to position itself as a top-class hotel.
Came here for a few days in January-- elegant hotel with modern refinement. The concierge is also worldclass and had excellent recommendations for nightime entertainment, dining, and museums. Timo at the concierge had particularly good recommendations for Frankfurt must-dos. At one point, I lost a suitcase and the team was very helpful and went the extra mile to help track it down.
This hotel is a little out of the way, south of the river. Its about a 25 minute walk to the city centre but less to the museums that line up along the south bank of the Main. Staff are mostly very professional and the public areas look good and are well maintained. Rooms upstairs are comfortable and very classy but understated. There's a decent bar serving reasonable food and drinks on the ground floor; when its warm you can also sit out on the terrace. Service is mostly good but at times a bit slow. There's also a nice spa with a pool. The only real let down was breakfast. Nothing wrong with the food but the service was truly dreadful. It took an age to get anyone's attention and hot drinks and smoothies took another age to come, as did cooked food. Complaining didn't do any good either and no one seemed to care (we even raised it with the front desk, but they didn't seem interested either!). This was a real shame because, otherwise, the hotel is very good.
We hat a great weekend in the Hotel. Everything was Perfect from the beginning ob die entrance. Die Location ist wonderful, gut the Mist important was that every staff was so friendly end courteous We will comeagain soon Best regards Dr.Beate Enke
