The rooms are very small no dresser or counter space only 3 single beds and a glass top table next to bed. No mini bar which is why i booked the hotel specifically. it was clean but is well in need of a renovation.

Booked Excelsior but check in was next door at Metropol where I stayed. Decent hotel - quiet room, good sheets & towels. Excellent toiletries. Very close to station.

Whenever I arrive in Frankfurt, I use this hotel, as it is very close to the Frankfurt main station and has everything I need for a brief stay. The rooms have been refurbished, and the amenities are excellent. Minibar is free, coffee and cake in the lobby available, and the breakfast is just excellent. Unfortunately they closed the business center, which was always a convenient working space.

Very near to main train station. Only one night stay. Like their free mini bar even though jus two water two juices two cokes. Breakfast is considered not bad for a 3 star hotel. To keep luggage you keep in a room below the recep at your own risk. I would advise you to bring a lock to secure to some permanent racks there.

Taken advantage of

I made a hotel change via hotels.com to change from 1 adult to 2 adults and sent the hotel an email, I received confirmation from hotels.com that the change was made and there was no additional price change, when I got to the hotel they had no knowledge of this change and said even if he did I did not change the room category and therefore I had to pay 30 Euros extra per night, because the room they had booked me in only had a single bed! I found this highly unfair is specially since when I booked it via hotels.com it was the same price for 1 or 2 adults. If I did not pay the euros they were not giving me a room, couldn’t cancel as hotels.com was in refundable, so I had no choice but to pay.

A big plus was that the hotel is right next to the Hauptbahnhof. It was clean, the breakfast buffet was decent and priced well, and the minibar items were included! Beer, soda, water and juice! Will make sure I stay here every time I go to Frankfurt.

Definitely not what I expected, but it was convenient being located directly across the street from the main train station in Frankfurt. Breakfast was okay. Would I stay there again, probably not. Was it cheap and a bed ti sleep in, yes. Word of wisdom-dont pay for early check-in. We did and the room was small and dank. When I asked to change rooms, staff was very short with me and acted like I was an ungrateful, spoiled American.

Excellent central location friendly staff but the lady at the reception with check in wasn’t nice or cooperative and needed to be more helpful I hope the management take care of this as I stayed several times before and this could affect the hotel reputation
