Had high expectations based on the pictures. When I got to the hotel, I was a little concerned that it might not meet my expectations. The outside was not as good looking as the pictures, and the hotel still had a construction permit on the front door. However, both the lobby and my room were as expected. Very pleased with my stay, and would stay again.
Don't stay on the highway side of the hotel it is very loud.
Close to the zoo, minutes from downtown. We enjoyed the hot breakfast with our girls (age 3/6). Overall great room for a family of 4. Staff friendly and all areas clean.
Everything was fine.. I don't have any complaints. It was near enough food options and close to the highway. I only stayed for 1 night and it was perfect for what i needed.. I checked out b4 i could get breakfast. But they were setting up and it smelled awesome
The noise level from the hallway was terrible the plumbing noise was terrible. The plumbing noise started around 2 AM and went most of the night.
overall very nice, the room was clean and the lobby and breakfast area very nice. unfortunately the room seemed damp and the air conditioner didn't work as well as i would have like. fortunately it wasn't too hot this weekend. my sister's room across the hall was sweltering and the air did nothing. don't know if she informed hotel staff or not. they hotel staff was frienldy, pleasant and helpful . overall a good stay.
My boyfriend and I were looking for a good place to justenjoy each others company. At the Hampton the staff was very nice, and answed any wquestions. The room was small, but I wasn't looking for anything big. It was clean, and didnt have any problems. It was also located to many different restaurants, shopping, and many other things to do.
I stayed at the Hampton in Fort Wayne Indiana because my daughter had a volleyball tournament. I had a double queen suite that was very clean the staff was very helpful location is close to a lot of eating places. I would recommend staying there and I'm a very picky person.
I travelled to Fort Wayne on business and stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites for one night. I booked the King Suite because it was the same price as a regular room, and I was very glad that I did. The room was large and comfortable, with a sitting room, kitchenette and seperate bedroom. The decor could use a some updating, and it was by no means luxurious, but it was clean and suited my needs perfectly. The bed was very comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows. The room had two good-sized flat screen televisions--one in the bedroom, and one in the sitting room--and the channel selections were excellent. The front desk staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I felt that they went out of their way to make my stay as pleasant as possible. I would definitely stay in this hotel again if I were travelling on business.
my best friend and i stayed the night after a genealogy conference. We swam and had a late night cup of tea from the lobby area before bed. Rooms were clean and comfortable. the hotel even accomadated us by allowing us to park our vehicles overnight on Friday (our stay was on Saturday night) so that we did not have three separate vehicles to park at the conference. we will defintely use this hotel again when we girls do our runaway fun week ends.
My husband I attended a fitness competition. The hotel was in the best area, around restaurants and stores. I just wish the hotel had an outdoor pool, but overall it was nice.
VERY nice room, clean and bright, great night of sleep, nice warm shower. Enjoyed a great breakfast.
In one word=Excellent
hotel was very clean the staff was friendly and very helpful, great breakfast, the pool was clean and nice but a little small. other guests children were a little rude but over all a great experience.
The staff was very friendly and the room was spotless.
Really friendly staff. Big, comfortable room that unfortunately reeked of cigarette smoke despite being billed as a nonsmoking room. I complained to the front desk, who let me know that the room is technically nonsmoking but is "right next to" a bunch of smoking rooms.
The bed was great for sleeping and we were glad to have a clean bathroom.
A semi-annual visit with relatives. Visited Ft Wayne's fantastic children's zoo and saw a baseball game in the remarkable stadium. Dinner at a fantastic restaurant in nearby Roanoke (can't remember the name)
Except for the staff seeming unhappy that we booked through a third party, they were excellent to work with. They were very helpful. When I woke up with swollen eyes from the feather pillows they offered not only different pillows, but also offered to bring eye drops to the room as well. When we returned ALL the pillows had been changed. Most hotels only give one hypo-allergenic pillow. That was nice. It was clean, pleasant, quiet, and close to restaurants, shopping, and the freeway. Good stay.
The check in person had a difficult time with my Orbitz reservation. She acted like I was not on her reservation list. She then tried to switch us from a suite to a regular room at the same cost. She was nice enough to give us the suite we reserved finally, but I should not have had to pressure her into it. Then.......I received a bill under my door saying they charged me again on a different credit card that I used for "incidentals" (which we had none)for the entire room expense again at a lower rate. I took it to the desk.... she said that will should have never gone to me but to Orbitz. I made her note that on my bill with the credit card numbers on it.......... NOT SO HAPPY ABOUT THE HASSLES!!!
