The island resort had no feeling of a resort at all. Clearly under staffed. Under delivered and quite uncomfortable. The hotel decided to hold a swingers convention which left my wife and her friend being cornered by men in nothing but silk robes. For the amount of money this place cost you’d think that at minimum you’d be able to feel comfortable walking around your hotel with KIDS. I don’t understand. Truly. Do better.

Dining food is overpriced by alot. Food is not prepared there. Otherwise this place is great. Been many times and the improvements are seen and appreciated. Went to a luxury restaurant with 4 courses and it wasn’t much more than the no extra anything premade meal from the dining room.

Our stay at the island resort was very comfortable. The other guests were friendly and the staff was great especially Laura, Michelle, and Lucy. The only complaint is that housekeeping never came and the towels were stained slightly. The pool was gorgeous and the grotto bar was fun. We had a very good stay. Thank you to the restaurant staff and bar staff for being so kind!

Check in ran much later than expected. Room was not as expected though maid service was excellent. There was a large gap around the door that you could see outside as we were in an outside room. The door had to be slammed to lock and we had to call service as it would not lock one time. The pools were very nice.

The large waterfall pool was very cold, it was beautiful but not enjoyable to swim in. The other smaller pool was just the perfect temperature. The Grotto bar is a fun feature but too cold to swim up to and to get soaked by a waterfall with your drinks in hand. The property is well maintained, great location to the beautiful beach. Did not like that you had to rent beach chairs especially in September when tourist season isn't as busy. But the beach was still pretty and enjoyable to walk or play in the water or sand with kids. The room by the pool was pretty but super loud at night. Everything is very expensive as well, but we had an overall nice stay.

The breakfast staff were terrible. The “queen” beds are really full size beds. The walls are paper thin. I loved the beach access. The bartenders were nice. There was no place to throw trash away inside the buildings. The place was clean and we had a great time for it being our first time.
