Enrico at the front desk was extremely helpful and courteous. The facilities are very clean. Breakfast is delicious. Walkable to most historic places that you would want to see in Florence. Train station is a 15 to 20 minute walk.
Enrico at the front desk was very helpful. The room, bathroom, amenities, breakfast and spa are excellent. Very attentive staff, beautiful hotel. Only 20-25 minute walk to the heart of the city.
This hotel was such a good experience for me while I stayed in Florence, and I wish I was able to stay more than two nights. My room was lovely and clean. The breakfast buffet (served from 7-10am) was a nice inclusion. There's also a nice, cozy common room, although I didn't use it much since I was out sightseeing most of the time I was there; I did, however, enjoy a cup of tea there after breakfast one day during my stay. I must add that the gentleman who checked me in was so friendly and welcoming. All in all, I was extremely pleased with Palazzo Lorenzo Hotel, and I'll definitely book here again if I'm ever fortunate enough to visit Florence again!
A great find! Nice combination of modern and classic
Staff is friendly and helpful. Property is clean though a bit out of date and noisy as we can hear the phone vibration from the other room at night which is annoying. So obviously any other noisy would be heard around. Free WIFI is super slow to search internet so i would suggest to buy prepaid sim for your phone and use it as a hotspot for internet access.
Lovely hotel within walking distance (just under a mile) of all the sights - and it has easy parking on-site (for a fee). It’s the perfect place if you drive to Florence. The property is gorgeous, with high painted ceilings and pretty touches everywhere. The single rooms are beautifully appointed. What a great value for the price! Breakfast is an Italian buffet but you can preorder egg dishes the night before (for a fee). The living room is a comfortable area to relax, and when we were there it was elegantly decorated for the holidays. Internet was spotty, but that’s typical. The employees were very nice. We very much enjoyed our stay.
The staff here was superb — from the first night we got there and Eric helped us find a great place to eat, and then others at the front desk helping us with a taxi and any other need we would have (I’m sorry I had written down their names but cannot find). And the people serving breakfast were also wonderful. It was a short stay for us but a great one. Oh, they helped me print out something I had to sign and were critical to helping me think through how best to get to Rome for our flight back to the US (train timing, etc).
Extremely nice room, superb staff. They offered cheese, sandwiches, breads and snacks, fruits every day 6:30- 8pm. Drinks were extra. Breakfast was more than adequate. One downside... if you needed help with the AC or TV.. it had to be addressed during normal day hours ( nobody available after 5pm) We stayed 3 nights... and would stay again. It is a 10-15 min walk to the main attractions.
