We booked this hotel because we were only stopping in Florence for two days. It was close to the train station and had relatively good reviews. Overall our stay was fine but we probably won't return. Seems like some of the rooms look better than others. While our room was spacious, it was also pretty dated, with the air condition controls built into the headboard of the bed. Our window had no view and the bathroom had cracks in various places. Everything seemed clean so really nothing to complain about, just not our style of place to stay in.
We travelled as a family and we were astonished how big the quadruple family room was. Beds are very comfortable. Although in the center of town it's a very quit hotel. It's a very clean with friendly staff. Unfortunately not everything was perfect: the toilet flush has to be pushed quickly and constantly in order to work (very enoying especially during the night and also for the other guests) Breakfast is very upsetting and does not represent the standars of the hotel. Closed room, no windows, very little bread choice, meatcuts and cheese (also here few choice) look old and wrinkled, cold scrambled eggs with just sausages, no bacon, etc.
The hotel is located centrally close to all the attractions of Firenze. It charges reasonable prices and is undergoing a renovation. Good breakfast and friendly service. Certainly a good pick in Firenze, considering the price also.
Right in the middle of everything if you are traveling by train and have light luggage you can walk from the train station considering Florence is not that big... We enjoyed our stay we had a nice sized room with the skylight window which was a plus. Breakfast was not that great..but the location was amazing. Great clean hotel!
A very beautiful room, good beds, a nice bathroom, ... Actually, no comment about the room at all. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. This in the middle of the historic center of Florence, with a beautiful view of the Santa Maria Novella. Very good was also the completely new fitness room, allthough it is very small and it lacks Wifi and towels. The only real negative thing was breakfast. This is served in an oppressive cellar. There is no fresh fruit, minimal choice, plastic cheese, ... The breakfast does not suit the rest of the hotel. With good breakfast, this hotel is worth five stars.
We stayed at the hotel for 3nights in December. It was well appointed and the room has obviously been recently renovated to a high standard. Very comfortable for the four of us. The breakfast choices were good and the staff were helpful. Our only issue was that we had booked a room with a queen bed and two single beds (one of the key reasons we booked at this hotel) and we were told this option wasn’t available when we arrived. So our two teenage sons had to share a queen. Frustrating and we booked at another hotel for the remaining 4 nights of our Florence stay for this reason. Despite this, it’s a good hotel with easy access from the train station.
The hotel does not look like the pictures available on TripAdvisor. However the room is very clean. Bathroom also very clean. But it does not match with the pictures I had seen in TripAdvisor prior to my booking. The breakfast is also not good. Not that many selection of cheeses and meats, the orange juice was gone by the time I arrived there, and basically other that that , bread and croissants, one have scrambled eggs as an option to eat. Very poor selection.
Good location only couple minutes walk from central station , love the classical designs , very nice and helpful staffs, while we were checked out, the hotel staffs give us a surprise - a very beautiful gift from Hotel Roma! ^^ have many good restaurants near by , only couple mins walk to the main attractions
Stayed in this hotel when I visited Florence. The hotel was absolutely nice and the location was great. It was directly next to Santa Maria Novella, a short 5 minute walk to SMN Tran Station, and a short walk going to the Florence Cathedral. The hotel interior as well was very nice and feels very stylish and classic. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Florence.
Very nice little hotel. Placed perfectly and with decent sized rooms. Toilet didn’t flush very well but the hotel itself was great. Rooms maybe outdated but probably not in need of modernising yet. I would recommend this to others
