This is by far the worst motel I have ever stayed in. The rooms smelled of mold, I was afraid to pull the covers down, the front desk people were very rude. I was there with my company for the hurricane recovery and they were the only place that had vacancies and now i see why. The shower was awful and I stayed dressed and slept on top of the covers if I had known I would have slept in my truck. Every motel or hotel that's operated by foreigners are always nasty.

I expected a basic motel. I got it. The room was clean. The parking convenient. I wasn’t happy that they charged $10 because we had a puppy (who never left his crate in the room). No places to get food anywhere near the place. We were told Dominos would deliver but they didn’t answer the phone. We were told the diner across the street was good but it was closed. It’s was not late at night. Lastly the WiFi didn’t work and the TV was hardly watchable.

We stopped here on our way to Virginia and I was happy with what I got for $40! The area looked safe, check-in was fast, and it is very close to I-95. Even though the room smelled a little musty, it was clean with comfy beds and cold blowing A/C. It also had a microwave and refrigerator (even hotels that cost twice as much usually don't have both!) They also offer a free breakfast but didn't open until 7 am and we had to get back on the road before then. Overall, I was very satisfied with our stay.

Very nice young lady and her mom who checked me in- got a smoking room because that’s all that was left on the first floor. The room reeked of smoke! We were tired so we dealt with it. New led tv was all that was new - carpet needs a good shampoo or replacement, dated wallpaper with pink border paint. Textured ceiling I hope is not asbestos. Water saving shower head and old 6 gallon per flush toilet. Mildew on ceiling of bathroom and LOTS of holes in walls! ONLY ONE SHEET ON BED! NO FITTED SHEET. Slept between sheet and blanket wondering if the blankets are laundered between guests. BIG pile of debris out back consisting of CRT TVs, furniture and lamps. (Dumpster not available?) I think a non smoking room would have been exponentially better but I’m okay having paid $57 for the night. I didn’t stick around for breakfast as we left at 7:00 AM. A recommendation I would have for management is to keep the room door open during cleaning to air the rooms.

Budget Inn Timmonsville S.C is the only hotel in the area and no Restaurants other then a tiny dinner attached to a small gas station across the street..we ended up going 5 miles down back roads to find a Hardees also the only place to eat in that town..the hotel was pretty quiet and peaceful but they could use some updates..The linen looked old and the comforter on the bed didn't smell too clean so I threw it off and used my own blanket..but for $50 a night what can you expect I guess! We didn't have breakfast because we wanted the extra sleep..I will say the bed was comfy though..the bad thing if you need to work from the room the Internet is as slow as dial up if your old enough to remember that

I am very impressed with the quality of service we received during our 4 wk stay. The rooms were clean upon arriving. Daily housekeeping was always with a smile and a friendly word or two. Hotel is owned by one of the nicest family I've ever met. They were always out on the property tending to their guests. I was frequently greeted by name and a handshake. The last evening I was there, my family and I were invited to sit and chat with the owner, his wife, and 2 lovely children. We were served with delicious Indian food and tea. This is honestly one of the better experiences I've had at a hotel during my business travels. If you are ever in this area, be sure and stay with this amazing family.

We stayed here as a last minute decision because we were tired during our road trip, so we don't usually stay at this type of hotel. The location is in the absolute middle of nowhere - I-95 is right there but nothing else is. I had to drive up 3 exits on I-95 just to get to a Subway (the closest fast food place!) to get some dinner to bring back! Supposedly you can call Dominos to deliver, but we tried several times and no one would answer the phone. The aroma from the diner across the street - which was the only other business anywhere nearby - made me feel sick. In the room, there was mold on the bathroom ceiling... I skipped taking a shower that night. The furniture is old, scuffed, and scratched. There is peeling wallpaper/paint and the door moldings were cracked. The bed was not very comfortable. Old CRT television - and while I usually don't care about the tv in my hotel rooms because I'd rather be out doing other things there is nothing at all to do in this town but watch tv! The hotel is cheap - but considering the condition of it, especially with the mold and peeling wallpaper/paint and bad location, I think they are charging too much. Looks nice from the outside as you are driving up (enticing you to book the room!) but once you see the room very disappointing! The continental breakfast was poor quality coffee, mini donuts, bread for toast, and cereal boxes. Not satisfying at all. The orange juice machine was out of order. I didn't like the vanity area in the room - lighting was way off and had trouble applying makeup. I would definitely not ever stay here again. It let us sleep for the night before getting back to our road trip, but that was all it was good for for us. We will not be staying here again.

Average rooms, average location, Was disappointed in breakfast; only had cereal for the choosing, but I guess that is what I should expect for the low cost. Truckers sometimes can't be choosy when they need TV, shower and layover.

Entered room it smells horrible. Wi-Fi service not working. And only one light bulb out of 5 works sitting in the dark. Only 1 small towel not even a bath towel. Worst experience i ever had. Never again.
