The Pool was frigidly cold, the front desk staff were so indifferent its beyond words. They were rude they werent polite they were just there. The hot tub shown in the photos was covered with a makeshift lid made of 2x4s, the AC did not work the phones to the front desk did not work. I would not stay again or recommend staying here to anyone i care about. OH.. and dont forget the additional room deposit had i known it would cost me that much total to get the room i would have stayed some place so much nicer. Among the listed reasons they can keep your deposit is dirty towels, so if you have an infant bring your own towels.

The Rodeway Inn in Flint is well located off the Miller Road interchange with Interstate 75/US Highway 23 on the southwest side of Flint near the GM plant. It is convenient to both restaurants and shopping plus has a friendly staff but those are the only positives. The room was in horrible shape. The carpets were completely worn out with cuts in multiple places. The television was a 27" tube tv although there was a good selection of television stations. As you enter the room there is the bathroom to the right with the shower and toilet in in a separate room and there is no tub. The paint on the walls and the door were all in bad shape. We had two rooms and the in the second room the door to the tub and toilet was broken with no door knob and other damage. The motel is connected with the swimming pool to a Quality Inn that is currently being refurbished so maybe this place will get some work done on it soon. Speaking of the pool you need to get wrist bands from the front desk before you can be in the room with the swimming pool and piece of paper on the wall that says anyone under 18 needs a adult with them while the permanent sign says 14. There used to be a hot tub too but it has a giant crate on top of it and is no longer used. The breakfast was another strike against this place. I went down and checked it out and found they only had a couple of containers of cereal and coffee and not much else so we decided to just drive across the interstate to IHOP.

Hotel explained about the theft of towels etc. There weree three people booked in a double room but we only had service for two. Each day we had to go to the desk and ask for an additional towel. Very inconvenient.

Horrible - guy at front desk was nice - that was it. this was rated as a 3 of 5 stars by Orbitz guests - DO NOT LISTEN TO THEM!! I made that mistake. Was horrible - I feel Orbitz should reimburse me for stay it was so nasty. The bedsheets were stained and I found pubic hairs under the covers. The phone did not work. there was dired soda on the nightstand along with crumbs of something that was gross. the bathroom sink / counter was do disgusting - I had to wet a towel and clean half of the room. It was 2am when we arrived- I asked to change rooms, and the 2nd one was worse. At 2 am I had no options but to stay. Floor had not been vacuumed in forever, the room smelled, and looks like there have been no updates since the 70's. DO NOT STAY HERE- regardless of the way too high and generous reviews. I wish someone would have been honest with me before I booked.

Ice machine needs repairs. The staff was helpful at the door when coming in this suitcases.

The hotel was not in good shape, and dirty. We could not find the hotel and when we called for directions, the person could not tell us how to get to the hotel from our location even thought we were only about 2 miles down the road at that time. All he knew was to take a certain exit off of of I-75. We were on the road of that exit and he was clueless. We did not get our wake-up call as requested and nearly missed our flight. When I complained at the front desk I was told that he didn't take the request, so that's why we didn't get one!

Priced right for the overnight stay. Easy access from I 75. The bed was comfortable. Toilet paper holder in bathroom was broken. Tile floor in bathroom was very slippery. Had to be careful. The handle on the pocket door to the bathroom was broken.

It was not a good experience..the room was in very poor condition ie smoke detector torn off the ceiling major dust on surfaces torn drapes..and last but not least there were a few bed bugs spotted. .Live an Learn

it was good. it was fair value for the money. not a bad stay.

Terrible! I couldn't find the motel for 45 minutes. They are in the process of changing the franchiser from S....P I.. A......T to R..DW.Y and have already changed the signs to R..DW.Y. MY confirmation from O....Z still showed S...P I.. A.....T. I got some help from a nearby restaurant who confirmed that the motel with the R..DW.Y sign is truly the S...P I.. AI.....T, at least for the next couple of weeks . No mention that parking is extra if you use the shuttle. The street sign says the road it is on is E. Austin , not Austin Parkway. No fun looking for it in a blizzard.

was disappointed with this hotel! No there is NOT a hot tub, which I really wanted. There was NO PHONE service in the hotel to the front desk or any where else. There was a fight in the hall at 3am and we could not get a hold of any one!! The pool was nice but the staff was more interested in people not stealing the pool towels than keeping them at the pool. Over all very disappointed in this hotel, would not stay again.

Desk staff very friendly and helpful, room was clean, modern and well-appointed. Staying for one night, free shuttle to the airport next day, allowed me to stay a few hours past checkout to accommodate flight time. Reasonable and worked out perfectly.

not clean, was stinking inside, bathroom door was broken

Hotel was not at all good, it had some bad smell. Bathroom Door was broken.

The room was extremely small and the bed was supposed to be a queen but seemed to be a full sized bed. Me and the wife sleep on a queen and this was not the size of our bed. The room smelled like stale cigarettes. The front desk was rude.. After a 20 hour drive from Florida we had a cooler of bottled water that needed ice.. We were on the first floor and the ice machine said "out of order go to the second floor", so i walked up the stairs to second floor and the sign on that machine said "out of order get ice at front desk", well i had to walk back down stairs to the front desk and she said well i will fill your room bucket but i can't give you ice for your cooler. What hotel doesn't have a working ice machine? We went to visit friends and visit some local bars, when we returned and tried to get into the hotel at 3:30am the door was jammed and the electronic key would flash green but the door would not open. We spend 45 min trying to get into the hotel and was very frustrated.. I will never stay at that hotel again....

This place was poorly built and is not aging well. The shuttle was good. The TV remote didn't work, so the staff was going to move me to another room. I suggested new batteries which fixed the problem. Getting a remote from another room would have worked too, rather than have me move all of my things...

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff seemed nice and helpful. Breakfast was only served until 9 am and you couldn't remove anything from the breakfast area. There were only 3 tables so you either had to stand and eat or go without. And they only provided one cup to make the waffles. Each person had to use the same paper cup over and over again. We would stay there again but make other breakfast plans.

I was only here one night. It was really fine. I just had to hook up the chain in the toilet so that it would flush.

Looks ok on the outside and the inside but needs work. Phone didn"t work in one room. Bathroom door didn"t work in another. Didn't seem to have a non smoking room even when requested 2 months before. It was quiet. I slept well. It was warm. Staff tried to be accomadating.

I'd have to say that my stay could've been better. There were cigarette burned holes in the bed sheets. The bathroom door was off track (it's a sliding door) The best thing about the room was the shower and the silence. The hotel did have a nice heated pool though; it was small, but nice none the less.
