The room was clean. The snow removal was terrible. The snacks were exorbitantly expensive. $4+ for a coke? It would have been okay if the fire and police departments didn't force us to evacuate because the hotel wasn't up to the fire code. The hotel says their pump was down. They must have taken too long to get it fixed, which is inexcusable when you're responsible for the safety of a hotel full of people. The hote refunded any money back to the evacuees cards, but offered nothing else by way of apology for the inconvenience, like points or anything. So that's not good customer relations, in my opinion, especially since most guests were probably here for the holidays.

After booking and paying online for the room, I learned I had to pay $100 deposit for incidentals and $55 for my small dog when I arrived at the hotel. They over charged me and I had to wait in the lobby for 2 hours while the clerk tried to figure out what happened until she finally gave me the key to my room at 2:45am. As I write this review, the issue still hasn’t been resolved as I wait for management to return my calls and I checked out at 10am this morning. It was one of worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had.
