It was mostly clean, being refurbished. A nice place but the restaurant was closed so no breakfast.

Nothing. Building itself needs repair. Front automatic doors were off track. Carpets filthy. The elevators (both) stunk and dirty.

Okay, near a variety of places to eat. Room service was okay.

Nice hotel until you get in the room Stains on the carpet Fluid stains on the side of the bed skirt Bathtub- didn’t feel comfortable taking a bath

Thought it was a Holiday inn express by the website. Only later learned it was not and so had no breakfast. Ticked off at anti American staffer.

Seemed fairly clean but had multi large stains on the carpet, housekeeping did not refill coffee creamer and sweetener. Not horrible but worst holiday inn I have stayed in.

Hotel was nice easily to get around only one issue when came back to room after it was clean one day door was not shut all the way wasn't happy any one could push door open and get in then next day who ever cleaned room tracked mud in room

Having stayed at multiple IHG hotels before, I've come to expect a certain level of cleanliness which has never let me down. Unfortunately, there is a first time for everything... The lobby was pretty decent and neatly decorated. Assistance at the desk was prompt and professional. The elevator, hallways and room were a completely different story. Elevator was disgusting, sticky floors and handprints everywhere. Hallway smelled terrible- old and musty, with hints of cigarette smoke. The room... well, the first thing we did was to grab all but two towels from the bathroom and make a path to the bed because the carpet was absolutely filthy. The upholstery on the chair and ottoman in the corner was full of stains and when I moved the ottoman out of the way, there was a light area on the carpet underneath it, which shows they don't even move it to vacuum, and that the carpet has not been cleaned in quite some time. Bed and bedding seemed to be ok, although there were no crease marks on the sheets, which normally means they are not fresh. Despite all these things, and not being the kind of people to complain, we decided to deal with it. Called front desk to ask about room service; we were informed they stopped service at midnight. We called at 11:10 to order and the restaurant said they stopped at 10:00, but that I could come down to pick it up. So we did. And wow. The $18, "quesadilla" and cheesecake we were served weren't worth $5... the flour tortilla was soaked in butter. 1/5

I grew up in Flint and come back frequently to visit family. This place is a safe, clean and comfortable hotel for my visits. The staff is friendly. I love the monogrammed pillow that help you mix and match firm and soft pillows for comfort. The gym is a decent size and clean. The breakfast is good.

The staff was great and the location was perfect for what we needed. The bed was less than comfortable and the rooms are older and in need of a few renovations.
