They need to up date the pictures of the hotel. Bed was so uncomfortable ,the pillows needes to be replaced. The recliner was gross. We didn't have a nice time at all.

The room was not huge, but we weren't looking for that . the only complaint would be that there was no shelf space in the bathroom.We met some great people there many of whom had been coming back for years.

My husband and I stayed 2 nights on our vacation. The location was close to things we wanted to do like the Zoo, Presque Isle and mall. Lots of restaurants nearby and delivery services. Their gift shop inside the lobby was nice.

Underwhelming Stay

While our room was clean, the overall appearance of this motel was underwhelming. We were disappointed by the peeling exterior paint, the "bare bones" shower (no place to put soap or shampoo while showering), and the artificial flowers on the dining tables/scroungy-looking potted plants outside. Some of these issues could be improved with a minimum of money, and would have net positive effects for travelers who stay here. From the outside the motel looks "tired"; from the inside the rooms fare better. We appreciated the cleanliness of our room but would also appreciate better aesthestics.

Rude and inconsiderate

I made a reservation and they got our days mixed up. Someone called at 11:45 at night and basically yelled at me for not showing up and wasting a room that he could of made money on. Told me I had to pay for 2 nights now to make up for not showing up. I tried to explain he had the wrong day. Not only was he trying to get me 2 pay for 2 nights, he said the 2nd night was double the price. He tried running my card without my permission and then proceeded to yell at me because it wouldn't go through. Said I was a fake trying to scam money from him. How would that be possible since he was trying to run my card for 3 times the amount of the stay that we didn't even have. Then he hung up on me! I am so glad that I have to ability to turn my credit card off when not in use.

Perfect for what I needed, a little run down and in need of some updates. However, the owners were very hospitable, the continental breakfast daily was great, they are reasonably priced, and close to Presque Isle, Erie. Which is what we wanted.
