Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Lady at front desk did a great job.

Convenient good location lots of restaurants nearby

I'd looked for an inexpensive place to stay while coming up to Erie for the Erie Marathon, and this local property had decent reviews so I decided to reserve the room. I normally travel for business and am used to staying at Hilton and Marriott properties, and I knew not to expect the same features out of a small motel. We stayed in a room with a single, very soft king bed; the room was clean, functional, and served its purpose. A little on the small side, and did not have a closet or anywhere to hang clothes (we didn't need that for this stay, but I mention that for others just in case). The bathroom was new-ishly remodeled and clean, but very VERY small; the toilet was installed at an angle so you had at least some chance of sitting down without getting your knee wedged against the wall, and the stand-up shower was similarly cozy. The toilet paper holder was broken, but otherwise the room and bathroom were well-maintained. The overhead lighting in the room was a dim and bluish annoying light, so we just used the single lamp in the room most of the time. Another thing to note - the doors have no deadbolts or supplemental interior locks or chains - just a keyed locking doorknob. The area seemed safe enough but I would have preferred additional security. Overall, I felt this was a good property for the price, and I will probably stay here again the next time I run the marathon!

Simple motel with adequate facilities. It wasn't good value-for-money, but nothing to complain.

The room was descent the only problem is someone unplugged the smoke detector and the room smelled like cigarettes. Also the hotel staff left a couple of hours early though they were supposed to be on shift til 9PM. But they did give descent service.
