The hotel is centrally located, which is a perk. Near the train and the buses making getting anywhere convenient. Don't rent a car, they charge you 10 pounds a night and that's if you can get a spot in their tiny car park. Otherwise you need to street park and pay the meters and even then, it's confusing. They have 12 spots for 8 floors of rooms.

I had a really fantastic stay! I even extended my stay twice!! The best part for me, was the EXTREMELY helpful and knowledgeable front desk lady. Kora!! She was a vacation saver.

It is very close all attracted place. Also it is easy to access.

The room I was assigned did not have window in the room or bathroom, I had the air conditioning on to have some ventilation, very small room and minimum amenties, Room service every third night. A lot security to access the rooms which is good. No worth the money I would not recomend this hotel even the location was very convenient

Stayed 5 nights, used as our base for day trips. We stayed here last year when it was owned by TUNE. Now everything is included in the price(not meals). Staff is great. Fully booked most of the time, remember the rooms are small, so some won't care for that.

Good accommodations for the price. Spartan room but adequate.

tiny room, but for this price it a very good choice

If your purpose is to explore the city and have a safe place to sleep and leave your belongings this is the hotel. Everything in the room is pretty basic but the hotel is conveniently located (20 min walking distance to weaverly station). In addition, the airlink bus which takes you from and to the airport stops right in front of it.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is OK, about 15-20 minute walk to Old town and all the attractions. The room was so small, no space, more like the size of a closet. The bed was horrible, I could feel all the spring coils while sleeping. No window, just too tight even for one person. Water pressure in shower was good, though you have to pay for housekeeping which is odd. WIFI was good.

The Tune is an acquired taste if you're North American and used to lots of space. Other than the bed there is no free-standing furniture; the laptop "desk" is a fold-down shelf beneath the wall-mounted TV. There are also windowless rooms and many things, including towels and hair dryers, may be extra, depending on your reservation. Read the fine print! I found the bathrooms clean, and ultra-efficient in size and function. Staff members were friendly and helpful. For short stays, this is a perfect option.

Hotel room was small. No tea or coffee making facilities. Little hanging space. Redeeming feature room was clean, and large window overlooking courtyard from 6th floor. Because of Rugby World Cup, Fringe Festival and Edinburgh Tattoo, Hotel was overpriced.

Small room, but the location is hard to beat. There are bus stop, tram and train station in front of the hotel. Also, the staff are so helpful and friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the check out time should have been 11 am instead of 10 am since the check in time is 3 pm not 2 pm like most of the hotels.

We spent several days here while visiting Edinburgh and surroundings. Excellent location near public transportation, but also within walking distance of Old Town and the Royal Mile. The accommodations were small and spartan - purchased package was great, but anything else was extra.

Many thanks for your review and your comments. I do hope you joyed your stay with us and I am sorry you were not satisfied with our parking arrangement. Parking in Edinburgh is notoriously difficult and often expensive so we feel that our 17 spaces available are priced quite competitively. I am sorry if you do not feel the same. Thank you again for your feedback and I hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back soon.

Hi Vilma, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the hotel concept was not what you expected. Our rooms are compact by design and we do have rooms both with and without windows. We do service the rooms every third day however we can arrange for this to be more frequent if you would like at reception. We do appreciate your feedback and we know our concept is not suited to everyone. We hope you enjoyed your time in Edinburgh. Thanks

Thank you for your feedback and your kind comments about our friendly staff We are glad you enjoyed your stay and took advantage of our central location Our rooms are indeed small with the belief that most visitors to Edinburgh would prefer a space-efficient room if it means paying less. We hope to have the chance of welcoming you back
