Very clean, tidy, spotless accommodation, friendly staff, right in the centre of Edinburgh - what's not to like? They provide coffee, teabags, sugar and milk, replacements on request. There are supermarkets and lots of bars and restaurants to hand, and we walked back to Waverley station when leaving.

This is our 4th stay at the Fountain Court apartments and as usual it was excellent! Clean and roomy apartment, parking and easy walking access to Murrayfield and into the City centre. Will be back next year!

Had a lovely warm welcome by the lady on reception, we were early and only popping in to ask if we could park while we went a walk until check in time but the apartment was ready so we were booked straight in which was much appreciated after our drive! Apartments were absolutely spotless with a range of facilities, dish washer, fridge, washing machine, dining area, living room with tv. Bedrooms were spacious and there were 2 full size bathrooms which I feel is essential when everyone is trying to get ready. Lovely contemporary decor as well. Great location within walking distance to tourist hot spots and plenty of bars and restaurants around. We chose late check out for £10 taking us up to 12pm! Well worth it. Parking is £12 and we were allowed to leave the car the next day when we went sightseeing saving us a small fortune on city centre parking rates!!! Customer service on the few occasions we went to reception was 5* excellent service!

Booked apartment for ,myself and family. Apartment exceeded expectations kitchen and lounge had everything we needed, very clean, coffee milk sugar all supplied. Bathrooms/bedrooms great size.Really convenient, short walk to Edinburgh princes, shops etc. Staff were very friendly and helpful, phoned taxi for us ,will definitely be back highly recommended.

My bloke and I booked a studio apartment here (kitchen/dining room/lounge with a partitioned off bedroom and a separate bathroom). The apartment was well laid out and well equipped (i.e. there was a TV in the lounge and one in the bedroom, a dishwasher, a washing machine, microwave etc). On arrival there was plenty of coffee, sugar, milk, dishwasher tablets etc. and cleaners came in every day to empty the bins and and replace towels or whatever was needed. The bed was very comfortable although extra pillows would have been nice (to be fair we didn't request any extra - that might have been possible). The venue was very convenient - about a 20/25 minute walk to the Royal Mile, Grass Market, and Princes Street. There are also 3 or 4 small supermarkets within a 5/10 minute walk. There are some nice cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance We'd definitely stay here again.

Great location up in Edinburgh’s West End. Parking also available for £10 per day which was good value We travelled with 2 children ages 7 & 9 and it was ideal. Kitchen / living area size was good for 4 people Bedrooms are on the neat size however they both had wardrobes so ample room to store bags and clothes Apartment was clean and warm. Plenty towels and kitchen utensils. Wi-fi connection also good Will definitely use again when down

Booked 2 nights at Fountain Court as an alternative to a hotel and was so glad I did. We arrived at 11am and were able to leave our cases and spend the rest of the day sightseeing. Upon return we were given our keys and went to the apartment on the 1st floor which was spotless. The carpet was new, bathroom very clean and looked like recently refurbished and microwave, washer dryer, dishwasher all looked new. The bed was very comfortable and the layout of the apartment was fabulous not to miss the linen and towels which were nice and fresh. All the essentials were provided e.g. hairdryer, shampoo, soap, 2 massive flatscreen TV's and free wifi. Our only issue during our stay was the people staying in the apartment above deciding to put their washing machine on at 1am, this is no fault of the staff or the apartment but I guess something that is more likely in apartments when comparing against a hotel. The apartments are perfectly located, 10 minutes to all the attractions with bars and cafe's en route and a handy Tesco express round the corner. Would definitely stay here again if revisiting Edinburgh

Myself, wife and two adult children stayed here for a weekend during Edinburgh Fringe. Excellent apartment, spacious with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Quite conveniently located for the city and Fringe venues. Supermarket nearby for self catering purposes. Really nice place to come back to and relax after a hectic day at Fringe.

Our recent visit to the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic necessitated an over-night stay in Edinburgh – two nights in fact, as we planned to take in some sights too. But where to stay? Somewhere serviced; somewhere conveniently placed for all our planned activities; somewhere with a separate bedroom for our teenage son; somewhere with 2 bathrooms, lift access, free high speed Wi-Fi and secure parking; somewhere spotlessly clean to OCD standards, somewhere close to eateries serving ‘normal’ food that wasn’t presented wrapped in waxed paper or a cardboard box, OR ideally, self-catering facilities; somewhere with a 24hour reception team (just in case) ….oh, and somewhere affordable! Hmmmmmm……’s a good job I like a challenge! I looked at good hotels of course, and quality B&B’s and guest houses, but it was impossible to find somewhere that ticked all the boxes. But then I found it……………….. FOUNTAIN COURT GROVE EXECUTIVE SERVICED APARTMENTS at 121 Grove Street, EH2! Serviced? Check! Conveniently placed? Check! 2 bedrooms? Check! 2 bathrooms? Check! Lift access? Check! Free high-speed Wi-Fi? Check! Secure parking? Check! (for a small additional fee) Spotlessly clean to OCD standards? Check! (and it actually was!) Close to eateries selling ‘normal’ food? Check! (and with a Tesco just around the corner) Fully fitted kitchen? Check! Washer/dryer, dishwasher etc All mod cons? Check! - flat-screen satellite TVs, even in the bathroom (!), and a full home entertainment system. Affordable?.......... Check! I also discovered that these apartments were awarded the Trip Advisor ‘Certificate of Excellence’ this year and that they won the title ‘Scotland’s Leading Serviced Apartments’ in the World Travel Awards last year. Considering that Edinburgh attracts almost four million visitors each year, that’s quite an achievement! Having now visited, there is no doubt in my mind that the Fountain Court Apartments are a true home-from-home experience. They are modern, stylish, and peaceful – a true retreat after a busy day of working, shopping or exploring the city’s many attractions. With a choice of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, guests can enjoy the space, freedom and flexibility of their own Edinburgh apartment combined with the style of a hotel. These apartments are close to Haymarket, the Financial District and Edinburgh’s West End. In fact, perfect for both business and leisure travel! You may choose to take in the famous city sights like Edinburgh Castle and The Scott Monument, Arthur’s Seat and Calton Hill, as well as renowned galleries and museums; perhaps a ghost tour around the Edinburgh Vaults, a bus tour around the city, a visit to Edinburgh Zoo, the National Museum of Scotland, Camera Obscura or Dynamic Earth; or just a wander through the winding streets of the Old Town, a drink in the eclectic cocktail bars of the New Town, some shopping or nightlife – the list is endless! You should also note that discounts are available to Fountain Court guests at specially selected Edinburgh restaurants and attractions! Book it - you'll be so glad you did!

We booked through "Superbreak". Very easy to do. We required two rooms and didn't want to risk the rooms not being next to one another. The Fountain Court Appartments were a great choice. Clean, warm with every thing we required in an apartment. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Security was excellent. Well located approximately a 5 minute walk from Princes Street. Bus stop and Tesco Local at the end of the street. .
